2025.01.22 06:47 Goldthirsty Why Data About Personality Rarity Shouldn't Be Trusted
Let me explain how this database was created so you can understand my point.
They created a website and asked people to answer some questions to determine their MBTI personality type. The results from these tests were stored in their database. By analyzing the data, they determined the percentage of each MBTI personality type.for example from this analysis, they concluded that INTJs or any other mbti personalities are very rare.
Now let me explain why this data is inaccurate:
- If you’ve noticed, anyone can take the same test multiple times using different devices or IP addresses. Every test taken by the same person is still counted as separate data. For example, one person could take the test three times on different devices (like a phone, computer, etc.) and get identified as ESFJ all three times. The website would then incorrectly conclude that ESFJ is a very common personality type.
- I’ve taken this test on several different websites and got a different MBTI type on each one. So it’s unclear which website this database is based on. If we want accurate information, everyone should be required to take the test on a single, unified platform to avoid discrepancies.
- Some people take these tests on job interview or in the presence of a psychologist, and such results are never recorded in the database.
- These databases don’t differentiate between living and deceased individuals. For example, many people who took the test years ago might have passed away, but their data is still counted and analyzed, which increases inaccuracies.
- We have 8.2 billion people in the world. If we want accurate and reliable information, all of them would need to take the test exactly once, on the same platform, and at the same time. This is obviously impossible.
- Some countries may lack access to the internet or such platforms, which creates another issue.
- Most of the time, when databases are created, the tests are conducted on a limited number of people. For example, in an MBTI study, they might test 1,000 people and find that 900 of them are ESFJ and 100 are INFJ. They would then claim INFJ is the rarest personality type. However, if they conducted the test on 1 million people, they might discover that 900,000 of them are actually INFJ, meaning INFJ is a common personality type.
Finally, I’m not saying databases are bad. They provide us with a general perspective on the subject. But most databases about human societies, statistics, and demographics tend to be inaccurate or flawed.
So if you think that your personality is rare, think again, because you might be the most common type.

Hey everyone,
I’m an Indian citizen with sudden travel plans to Dubai on 27th January, and I’m in a bit of a tricky situation regarding my passport.
My current passport is expiring in September 2025, so I applied for a renewal to meet the 6-month validity rule for an upcoming travel. However, my renewal is still in process, and my old passport has been punched (stamped as canceled). I’m expecting my new passport to be delivered by 26th or 27thJanuary, just moments before my travel.
Since I don’t have my new passport in hand right now, I’m unsure how to proceed with the Dubai visa application.
Can I use my old punched passport to apply for the visa if I provide proof of my passport renewal application? Since my passport stamp mentions "Passport Cancelled, Visa if any remains Valid" so would i be able to get a visa for UAE on this passport?
This is a sudden trip, and I’m running out of time, so any advice or similar experiences would be extremely helpful!

2025.01.22 06:47 Ey_liey I just noticed something pretty sad about wahlberg: (manga ending spoilers)
It's been stated that Wahlberg never got to interact with other people his age growing up due to him always being indoors. This meant Innocent Zero and Meliadoul Amy were his closest friends, and it's safe to assume they were on good terms, especially him and Innocent Zero.
Near the end of the manga, we get this flashback. I don't know if it's available anywhere in earlier chapters, but there's a lot to be seen here even if it got interrupted. In the last row, we can see Innocent Zero standing next to a pool of blood, implying he killed someone with his magic. He said "I didn't yet know what magic was capable of", meaning this may have been the moment when he realized the true potential of his powers.
Wahlberg immediately became upset at the sight of one of his closest friends using magic to murder someone. It seems that he was reprimanding him, or panicking, or both. In the end, he was unable to bring his friend onto the correct path, and they strayed apart.
None of this was Wahlberg's fault, of course. We don't get much information about Innocent Zero's early life, but he was never taught by anyone the dangers of his magic and instead only received positive praise from his teacher. Combining this and his knowledge, it was only really a matter of time before he went on a power trip. Could there have been someone who was able to correct him early on? Maybe, since he was just a teenager, but that person certainly couldn't have been Wahlberg, another teenager who was probably less than capable of helping him at the time.
Wahlberg grew up to be a charismatic leader. As he aged, he may have forgotten how he was young and immature, and he never forgave his past self for not being able to save his friend, even though this situation would've had the same result with any other high school student involved. He was determined to defend the world against Innocent Zero, even before the one-on-one fight, because he believed it was all his fault that he wasn't able to help. He was even willing to die in the fight against Innocent Zero. All this time, he was trying to redeem himself for a crime he never even committed.
Just my theory though.

I've immigrated to Europe and will get my citizenship here eventually. I really want to get all my money out of the US, which is mostly in stock investments but it doesn't seem like the stock market is a big thing in Europe? And I don't think I can use it as a non-EU citizen so do I just wait until I get my passport here? What are my other options? I also have a ROTH but I know there will be big fees to pay if I remove before retirement age. SO maybe I leave that for now. I just have a bad feeling about the US and things are only going to get worse so I would feel better not having all my retirement funds invested there. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!
