hello everyone,
I'm currently reviewing for the sec+ 701 starting with domain 1. I noticed that a lot of my resources have their own definitions for security controls (technical, operational, managerial), and it's kind of confusing me. For example, cyber craft videos say that "operational controls-for the human element e.g policies, procedures, and training programs while managerial controls- oversight of a system e.g. risk identification or the evaluation of other security controls". Prof Messer says "managerial controls- administrative controls associated with security design and implementation, security policies standard operating procedures". It is confusing to me because do both controls involve policies? I would like some clarification or an example. I want to make sure I truly understand these concepts, especially for PBQs. Help is greatly appreciated

2025.01.22 06:42 PuzzleheadedCook2514 Paid the least airfare = kicked me off from my booked flight
I booked this flight September 2024 ( didn't realise I paid the least amount of money for the flights at that time). I paid extra luggage and seat.
Yesterday, 21/1/25, they emailed me and changed my flight to indirect and would landed midnight, 7hrs later than I originally bought flight.
Their ground staff at Queenstown airport mentioned: flight is too heavy and I paid the least airfare so I got changed. I was shocked. I didn't know I paid the least airfare. And if i don't pay a high rate for the flight then i deserve tp be kicked off? And I was told by the manager from the ground that i was expected to comply with whatever policies because I agreed to purchase. No refund for luggage or seats 😕
I had to question!too heavy =over booked? Paid the least airfare = second tier citizen?
Very disappointed.

2025.01.22 06:42 OCFnJ My wife passed 8 days ago
I'm (48m), and my wife was my entire life. I met her in my early 30s after my 1st wife and I grew apart. I knew almost immediately I met my person...We married in 2012. A year into our marriage her transplanted kidney failed. So it's safe to say I've been a part time caregiver for most of our marriage, although other than dialysis we lived a very full exiting life in spite of lots of hospitalizations. We started doing home hemodialysis a few years ago and from that point, I became her full-time caregiver.
April of 2024 she underwent mitral valve replacement. That was the beginning of a slow journey towards the end. She never quite recovered fully. It was one step foward, and two steps back. Three months ago she underwent a partial amputation of her left foot. After 8 weeks of recovery she came home. Her first few days back were good. We had a couple date nights and even started cramming a Xmas plan, but 4 days later while in the Dr's office lobby, she had full cardiac arrest. I did CPR on her for 10 minutes and got her back!! But it was bad. After 2 weeks in the hospital, she came home but was now confined to bed. She was with me another 2 weeks and passed at home 4 days after going on hospice.
My wife lived more life in her 50 years than anybody I've ever seen. When she went, I knew she had fought as hard and as long as her body would let her. I was at her side until the very end.
This won't be my only post, more of an introduction and a backstory.
My question for the group is when does life start to feel real again?? I'm so numb and raw right now I can't stand it...Is it normal to have full conversations with her when nobody is looking?

 | Could somebody please explain to me what type of pixel damage this is on my Oled LG TV is. My farther has had this issue a month after purchasing. This is not a new model and it is not a new problem, I've come over and have no idea how he's coped with this display for so long. What's the go with knee extension. I'm 5 weeks post op and can achieve knee extension after a good stretch.
But maybe after an hour I lose a bit of it until I stretch again
When did you find that your extension just came naturally? I've read from others that at some point they felt a release in their leg that made it feel more "normal"
