2025.01.22 07:00 Character_Gain_4913 Starting Abilify today. Anyone who has any tips or advice for a first timer?
If anyone here has had experience with starting this medication. Specifically for low level Paranoid Schizophrenia, that also shows itself as OCD, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression and Insomnia. And possibly also slight levels of Autism or Aspergers
Would maybe be able to give me some tips what to expect with this kind of medicine? I have never been prescribed antipsychotics before, and must say I am honestly very nervous about it.
(• What should I be expecting from taking this, for the first few days, and weeks of it?
• Is there anything I should look out for, safety wise? Like certan side effects that means i should stop taking it immediately?
• Is taking this a big risk, or is it not really a big deal?
• I am currently still on Effexor for anxiety, and was told they mix just fine, is this true, or is it a terrible idea to mix them?
• How quickly can I expect it to start working? Do they take forever like ssris, or instantly like ADHD meds. )
Again, your response and advice will be greatly appreciated, as I am, like I said very nervous about this. Therefore I think any words of reassurance could definitely help me feel better about today. Thanks.

She gave me a crab tattoo, A mark, a sign, a clue. Unknowingly, she acted As catalyst to my journey to death.
This love is my prison, This love is my sin. I breathe her in deeply— I let her win.
Finally, I realized— This is not love, It is death, A poison from above.
