Hello creators,
I have been looking into the potential of feedback collection using chatbot style widgets. There are a lot of products out there providing a way to collect feedback in a very traditional manner, where they provide a normal widget without any sort of interactions as such to keep users engaged to the feedback forms.
Now, before you folks say, yes there are a loads of chatbot builders out there. But, they focus on making them a general purpose bots with providing templates to do multiple tasks and one of them is collecting feedback. My aim is to niche down in chat bot building just for feedback use-case. This helps me in providing best possible analytics like drop-off points, engagement percentage and many more things around the bots as well.
What do you folks think about it?
PS: I am aware Survicate probably provides things like these but they are again a product whose focus is not just one thing but spread over a lot of other things.

2025.01.22 09:55 Sad-Asparagus-438 Received my first job offer out of college and all I feel is misery
Staring at my offer letter (for a good engineering job and a good company with a good salary) and I feel so ungrateful for being so absolutely miserable. I cried when I received it—not out of joy, but out of reality hitting me in the face. A lifetime of working a 9-5 for someone else.
I know I can work for a couple years and get to a point where I can retire and subside on a low income for the rest. But those couple years are poor prospects.
I don’t know how it’s so easy for people to just accept this reality. All of my peers are ecstatic to be starting a new phase in their journey.
I’m just gutted, and not because I hate my discipline or my major. I signed on for engineering because I like to make things—and I still do! But nowhere in that passion that I expressed so easily as a 10 year old with big dreams about hoverboards that fly and teleportation doors did I realize that I’d effectively signed on to a lifetime of doing this meaningless thing to do that meaningless thing; of dedicating my entire life to some idea of productivity that just drains life force.
Sorry for the rant, I promise I’m writing in my gratitude journal.

That’s all. I’m just tired of it and it’s routine and I don’t feel comfortable around my coworkers. I can’t just quit because I have to pay for the apartment renovation I’m doing so if I quit I instantly need a new job. I’m looking for it, but it’s been a few months and still no luck. I went through a lot in life from divorce to a full blown drug addiction but none of it felt as miserable as wasting 40 hours a week on a meaningless job I hate that can’t even buy me my dream life. I feel so empty like I’m wasting my life. Idk if need advice, probably just want to get it off my chest

Well, it's a story that I heard or read a few times but I don't remember where. I think it wasn't an isolated one and maybe it was attached to some historical figure.
In any case, the story was about that, a King orders someone to be killed and buried in a forest (heir, rival, I don't remember) but so that they don't reveal the location of where his body was left, he orders other assassins to kill the first ones and bury them, at the same time he orders others to do the same with the new ones and so on until no one knows exactly the number of dead and incidentally the burial place of the original body.
The area where this happen it may be part of the name of the legend, but I don't remember much more, if anyone knows something or it sounds familiar, I would appreciate your answers in advance (or if you know of another cool story like it)

2025.01.22 09:55 mimi2001f GP prescribe mood stabilisers?
can I go to my GP and ask for mood stabilisers? I have been on 1 SSRI (fluoxetine). I was on it for around a year, had issues with my depressive episodes still recurring but they were 10x worse. GP upped dosage slowly from 20mg to 60mg in the space of a year which didn’t help.
I have recurrent depressive ‘episodes’ almost every month, some episodes are worse than others, I’m able to manage some episodes easier than others. I also have experienced several ‘elevated’ mood ‘episodes’, spoke to NHS Talking Therapies and they said it sounds like Cyclothymia (type of Bipolar Disorder). I told my GP, they referred me to the CMHT for an assessment - didn’t end well, they told me to stop my antidepressants as they can make my mood elevate even higher and recommended I go back to therapy to treat my depression.
So I’m basically just here waiting to be accepted for therapy, not sure how long I’ll have to wait. Currently on no medication but my depressive episodes are very much ongoing. I wanted to know if anyone would recommended a mood stabiliser? Will my GP prescribe me it or be reluctant to as I have only tried 1 type of antidepressant?

On my laptop I use wireless bluetooth earbuds (Fresh n Rebel Twin Rise). They connect without an issue. I use Spotify. When i get an teamscall or I wanna start a teamscall, the connection is automaticly lost and I don't find the earbuds as a audio tool.
I keep seeing the earbuds in mij settings, connected devices on windows as "connected", but I can't see the earbuds when I go to Audio, to select them as device to use for audio.
When I restart my computer, it does work again.
I've tried different things, set the audiosettings per program. So Teams and Spotify have "Twin Rise" as choosen audio system. I've made sure all the settings in Teams were set correct, but it doesn't help. Everytime I receive/make a call, the connection is lost.
When I go deeper in the settings, I see that the connection is "lost" but in the first windowssettings, the connection is set as "connected".
