2025.01.22 08:04 umm36 One-shot ideas for the City of Dis (Second circle of the Nine Hells)
I'm working on a series of one-shots to rescue an old character of mine currently trapped in Stygia by the Donjon card. The premise is that the level 4 fighter sworn to her service she gained from drawing the Knight card prior to the Donjon card is wandering the multiverse looking for adventurers to send into hell to rescue her. Each one-shot will be sequentially descending one layer at a time through the top 5 hells.
I have already run the first session crossing the Blood War in Avernus, through to Tiamat's lair to the entrance to the City of Dis in the second circle. The next one-shot, regardless of who I end up running it with, it may well be the same characters, it could also be different players entirely, will be attempting to get through the City of Dis and into the third circle of Hell.
The problem I have though, is there is very little information available for Dis compared to the entire 'Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus' adventure module. I do have access to the 'Fiendish Codex II - Tyrants of the Nine Hells' from 3.5e which has a great deal of information on the setting, but not a lot in the way of encounters, or a guided adventure. Through to the next layer.
(with that said, I also need suggestions for layers 3 and 4 as well :P )

My wife and I have been married for 5 years together for 7. We have twins together and are both in our 30s. In July of last year, my wife and I got into a heated argument that lead to me moving out of the house and us splitting. Since then, we've been co-parenting but not together. A few weeks ago, I met up with a women since we are split. I picked her up at her place, we went out to eat and had a nice evening. My wife and I recently decided to meet up, talk about the kids, and to note, we have slept with eachother here and there. I decided to tell her about this and she was very calm about it. She shared that she had also went on a date and to be honest, I am livid. I responded quite harshly. We got into it and she said it's not fair for me to be able to go on a date but she can not. I just feel confused. I walked out and haven't spoken to her since. It's been a few days. Am I justified in being angry about this?
