Need help finding a mobile game
Kinda vague details since I suck at describing and it's been years but the whole games style is pixel art. Your character lives in an apartment and you have to get through college while working jobs to upgrade said apartment. You can buy outfits, cars, pets, apartment upgrades etc for money bonuses. This game was 100% translated from another language (most likely Chinese?) and has quite a few grammar errors. As for other defining features, I belive on the bottom left there was the school button, and on the right was a shop button? Unsure of 2nd one but there was definitely a class button. Top left there is a grades bar You can tap the screen for money You can tap your pet for money You have a set ammount of energy for that month and you have to balance work, school, and needs with that energy. You click on the appliances you can upgrade to refill the needs bar (99% sure this included a toilet/shower, kitchen, bed, and couch) You can squash bugs that appear every so often in your apartment for a money boost for a short ammount of time You can date a partner and after enough texting they move in with you I think the other currency was diamonds If there's any questions lmk and I'll try to rmebwr an answer if there is one, I just want to play this cute game again

Hello,
I bought a Persol 714 with a lens size of 54 mm and I am very satisfied with the glasses themselves. The width of the glasses fits nicely on my face. The only problem is that the Meflecto technology presses the temples so strongly against my head that they look quite bent where the flexible part is. If I could bend the bridge (where the folding mechanism is) a little towards my face, it would relieve the bent temples immediately; I mean, I only need to bend the bridge back by about 1-2 mm.
Has this problem occurred with any of you before? Is my head perhaps just too big at the back? That would be strange, since the glasses generally fit my face shape. Or is this completely normal and how it should be? Is it maybe just the fit of these glasses?
Can I sit in front of an infrared lamp with the glasses and warm them up a bit? Should I heat the bridge with a hairdryer, or will it possibly adjust itself over time while wearing the glasses (in sunlight)?

Hi all. I have just bought a car with a DSG. This is the 1st time I've driven an automatic and I'm still getting used to it. This morning I reversed the car in a parking space and switched off the engine. I couldn't remove the key from the ignition. I then realised that it was still in reverse and not park so I changed to park with the engine off. Could doing this without the engine on cause issues? Have I ruined the gearbox already?

I matched with a girl, and we had a 3-4 month courtship where she seemed like the ideal match.
She had no knowledge about s** education. We discussed honeymoon destinations, and she seemed interested in traveling after marriage. We also talked about having kids, and she mentioned wanting them after 2-3 years. Since she was unfamiliar with such topics, I explained some terms and how things work.
After 2-3 months, she said she no longer wanted a physical relationship, didn’t want kids, and wasn’t comfortable. I’ve always valued emotional connection alongside physical intimacy, but I believe physical intimacy is crucial for a healthy marriage. She made it clear that she’s simply not interested and didn’t want conflicts over these issues.
What baffles me is how her stance shifted so drastically—from being okay with kids to not wanting them at all. When I asked if it was something I did, she denied it, saying it was just her personal preference.
But honestly, how does someone plan to have kids without enjoying the process? Who the f*** only sees s** as a means to procreate? She did ask If I was okay with this but how can anyone be okay with this?

Meredith claims she never was spreading rumors about Shawn’s sexuality or marriage. If we take that claim in good faith, does anyone else think Meredith could have been referring to Shawn’s Andrew Tate fanboying?
I like to think that Meredith wouldn’t be a hypocrite about her LGBTQ allyship (though some people certainly are hypocrites on this), so it makes sense to me that she would refer to anything pertaining to incel, masculinist behavior as “nasty.”

This comes up from time to time as most people don't understand how fast traditional yogurt cultures can double.
The researchers in the linked paper call out that other researchers show rates doubling 11 to 15 minutes fr commercial yogurt. They then make a model to dial this in for various temps, which is the heart of the paper.
Industrial processes often involve less ideal conditions due to factors like temperature gradients, nutrient limitations, and the presence of inhibitory byproducts (e.g., lactic acid). These factors generally result in slower growth rates compared to those observed in tightly controlled laboratory experiments. However, we know that commercial growth operations can make liquid to solid in about 4 hours. However, I don't have any data on the exact amount of starter they use.
However, I do know at home, I can add 2 tablespoons of yogurt culture to 1 gallon of milk and have a nice yogurt in less than five hours. This would indicate that I am doubling every 40 minutes. So, I bet the commercial guys can do better than me.
Since many people found this subreddit by way of interest in Reuteri yogurt and reading Dr. Davis SuperGut book, I would like to state that I both like his talent for summarzing things, but I also recognize that he didn't get somethings right. One of those areas is that he has a perception that commercial yogurt doubles much slower. The quote from the book is "This means that commercial yogurt manufacturers, which typically ferment for only 4 hours (one doubling) to hasten production."
I believe that he also carries this incorrect fact on his website. Again, I don't expect perfection out of any secondary or primary research. This is simply something to be aware of.
