Hi everyone,
So as we all know that there has been a huge increase in the number of posts related to paraphilia, pedophilia, and related topics. Earlier, the mod team did their best and went above and beyond to make sure the posts/comments are well managed.
But unfortunately this influx has led to a sad state of concern for me as the head mod. Now, the topic has merely turned into a debate rather than one or a few people coping with their trauma. Which has further caused a lot of trouble to the team and even triggered them to struggle with health issues.
So, we’ve made a decision to remove all new posts related to paraphilia until further notice. We apologise if this brings trouble to you but we are left with no other option but this. We will soon be coming up with a revised rulebook with a rule specifically for this issue.
We may also need a bigger mod team to further help us with these issues so if anybody is interested, they can let us know through the comments here or drop us a modmail.

Hi! how do we all feel about ~2ft diameter fire in a raised metal fire pit on a brick pad in the backyard (Saanich)?
I know it is technically against bylaw, we love our fire pit and liked using it at our old rental place on 10 mile point/caddy bay area but we had a half acre and were not likely to bother neighbours with that sort of thing. now we are in Gordon head with closer neighbours.
Anyone having wee social fires in your neighbourhood?

A bit of context, im playing B42.1.0 with some mods tried removing some new mods but i dont want to keep going on trial and error, this was the error on the console anyone have any idea on how to fix it, or how to look for what is causing it at least?

there are 7 of us, we’re all students and are currently renting a house from a student letting agency. we have to flag any/all maintenance issues on an app called ‘occupant’ and 7 days ago we flagged emergency maintenance that our 2 showers in the house aren’t working as they either just don’t have any water flow and if they do it’s either freezing or scalding. we had no reply for 3 days and then we posted another request. we then had no reply for a few days and posted another slightly more strongly worded request and finally a plumber was sent the next day. he looked at the boiler, took the shower heads off and left the house without fixing or explaining anything. my housemate then messaged one of the workers whose number he had been given yesterday to say nothing has been fixed. he got told that the plumber said the showers have failed and need replacing and that they are waiting for confirmation from the landlord to go ahead with the job. we don’t really have any idea of when we’re going to have working showers. is there any chance of getting discounted rent? (in the reasearch i’ve done i don’t think we’re legally entitled to it?)
- we also can’t call the estate agents as they do not have a working phone line
