2025.01.22 08:14 MythicalFighter Did they recently make any adjustments to either Lepic or Pyromaniac? I'm struggling to one-phase the boss, even though I had no issues with it before.
Please note that I'm using the regular version of Lepic.
Maybe I'm just having a streak of bad RNG or something, but I've been struggling with Pyromaniac all night with my Lepic boss build. I can still one-phase it sometimes, but maybe only on half of my runs, if that. I haven't changed anything on my build at all, so I'm just curious what's going on. Something feels off, but I'm not sure what's wrong. Sometimes, I finish it in under ten seconds, and then sometimes he goes immune super quick. Other times, I just don't do enough damage.
For reference, I'm using a full Slayer set and a reactor with Colossus damage and tech damage. My reactor has a scout rifle slot, so I'm using a scout rifle with the two mods that make Lepic shoot his fourth ability faster. I get off thirteen shots consistently.
For the build itself, I'm using Front Lines, Battle of Stamina, Emergency Measures, Enlightenment, Skill Extension, Skill Insight, Fire Specialist, Skill Concentration, Technician, and Dangerous Ambush.

2025.01.22 08:14 AriDreams What if when you pass away and supposedly get reincarnated that you are able to choose a difficulty level and that's why some point are on easy or expert level?
I don't know why, this just kinda came to me a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it. Like, what if my hypothetical past self had a really tough life and was like "I have to have an easier route this time but not too easy cause I dont want to look like a pansy."
Not saying I believe in reincarnation but just, the scenario of this is so wacky that I feel like it can almost be plausible?

36/female, needed a colonoscopy due to intermittent bleeding. I was very nervous for the prep/scope so figured I would post my experience. My appointment was at 12:30 pm on a Monday. I tweaked my diet 2 days prior to low residue foods mostly. I stopped eating solid foods and moved to clear fluids starting Saturday night at bedtime. Sunday morning I kind of cheated and had half a small protein drink like a boost. I was starving during the 1.5 days of not eating. That was honestly the worst part for me. I started Picosalax Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm. You mix the picosalax with 150 ml of water and then have to drink 2 litres of any clear fluid and take 2 dulcolax pills an hour later (I only took 1 dulcolax.) I also took 15 mg gravol. I was on and off the toilet from approximately 4:30-11:30 at night. I woke at 5:30 am and took the second picosalax dose follow by 2 litre fluids again with 15 mg gravol. At this point it was Mostly liquid. I recommend applying vaseline after each bathroom trip. For the colonoscopy I was very nervous for sedation as I tend to get nauseous so opted for a light dose of versed/fentanyl. I was high but fully awake and watched the scope on the screen. The colonoscopy was fairly painful/uncomfortable, they fill you up with co2 and the scope gets caught around corners etc. it was not pleasant and I felt it all. I would recommend getting the full dose and being sedated for this. However, it was interesting to watch. Following the scan I went to recovery had vitals done, ate juice/cookies and went home approximately 30 minutes later and got a burgefries. The entire process was not enjoyable, but it was nowhere near as bad as I feared it would be. The hardest part was the hunger and not eating for almost 2 days. Also don’t fear the sedation, it’s worth it. Next time I will opt for full dose! My results were clear, possible internal hemorrhoids that come and go. If bleeding continues, may need to rule out issue with small intestine.

2025.01.22 08:14 NeatUsed I am considering to switching to private practice and moving from the nhs. What should I expect?
Lately I have been feeling worn down with nhs lately due to some cases I have been having with and not at all to do with any work I have done. I am not unhappy with nhs pay but the big problem with nhs system is that you are forced by their regulations to do work that you are not confindent in like molar endo or re-rct. It always has caused me problems explaining patients that I am not able to do this kind of work even if it is warranted by the nhs.
I have talked with several other dentists and they told me that switching to private practice might be better since I am freely allowed to referr complex cases I am not comfortable with and also have to right to pick my patients. It seems like a better life.
Right now I have almost 3 years of experience and can fairly say I am confindent with extraction and crowns but not completely the rest. Haven’t done bridges yet and I still need to hone my skills with composite restorations and rct is still a thing i am having a bit of trouble with. Nhs has allowed me to gain the basic skills to deal with patients (diagnosing, handling emergencies, etc) but I think I am stagnating since 1 year ago and not learning much more.
Would it be good ideea to switch to private practice rather than keeping myself an nhs dentist? I was considering getting something part-time private and gaining my rep then while i am still keeping my income stable with nhs.
What are your opinions? Thank you kindly for the answers!

I have always liked horror, but most of the stuff that I find is finished and I am not patient enough to read a single episode a day when I know there's more available. If it's able to be binge read with ads then it's fine. It's difficult to explain how things work in my head, but I just can't stand daily pass stuff for some reason.
I'm currently reading Banhyang: The Remote Island, and Spore.
I like horror with monsters and stuff, not really a fan of humans vs humans.
