Hey all this is a question I’ve had for a bit now, 18M if that matters. For years and years now any time I have a dream I will never be myself in it. I mean I’ll act and talk like myself and everyone will address me like I’m myself but I look completely different, the looks have changed throughout the years but it’s usually a character or even another person I like that I become in the dream on a physical level. I was wondering if this was common with anyone else because it’s been happening for at least 5-6 years now, and I think it’s odd I can’t physically see myself in dreams because my representation never looks like my while everyone else always looks how they do in real life, (my friend Drew looks just like my friend Drew, my mother looks like my mother etc)

My Sony TV is only HDR compatible [it does not support DV]. When I play HDR+DV content on TV directly, it plays without any issue but when I'm playing the same content via Fire TV Stick 4K Max (Gen 2) connected to TV, I get bank screen with sound.
I have tried to both disable/ adaptive HDR option on Fire TV display settings but still I get only blank screen with sound.
Help is appreciated.

Two friends of me had their first stream on 9.January, after wards they started the Verification (~3 days says Whatnot). No news until today... One of them wrote the support but only got connected to a bot.
Has anyone experience with advertising a seller? I sent them the link and got an Email from Whatnot where it says I get noticed again if they sell something. Now the first orders are already completed, but no news from Whatnot.

This happened a few years ago during my first (and last) solo camping trip. I had been feeling burnt out and thought a weekend in the wilderness would be the perfect reset. I found a remote campsite deep in the woods, miles away from any trailhead. It was quiet—just the sounds of birds and the wind through the trees. Exactly what I wanted.
The first day was uneventful. I set up my tent, gathered some firewood, and read by the fire until it got dark. By 10 PM, I was tucked into my sleeping bag, lulled to sleep by the sound of crickets.
Around 2 AM, I woke up to the sound of footsteps—slow, deliberate steps crunching through the underbrush. My first thought was that it was a deer, but the steps weren’t random. They were steady, pacing back and forth near my tent.
I froze, my heart pounding. Then the footsteps stopped, right outside my tent. For what felt like an eternity, there was nothing but silence. I couldn’t hear breathing, couldn’t see a shadow—just that awful stillness. Then the footsteps started again, this time circling my tent, slow and deliberate like whoever—or whatever—it was wanted me to know it was there.
I stayed completely still, holding my breath, praying it would go away. Eventually, the steps faded into the distance. I didn’t sleep the rest of the night.
When the sun finally came up, I unzipped my tent and stepped outside. I expected to see footprints, signs of some animal or person, but there was nothing. No tracks, no broken branches—just the same, untouched woods.
I packed up and left within 15 minutes. To this day, I have no idea what—or who—was out there. Was it someone messing with me? An animal? Or something else entirely? All I know is I’ve never camped alone since, and I don’t think I ever will again.

In December we (German) matched with a Peruvian au-pair. She has a great connection with our three children (9F, 7M and 5M) and with us. She does more than we could possibly demand of a 19-year old woman in a foreign country, thinking out activities to do, games to play and so on. Especially on our daughter her influence is very good. It's always fun when the au-pair is around. She used to be rather anxious, but she has unfolded herself thanks to our au-pair's encouragement and support.
It also helps a lot that she is assertive in telling us what she likes and what she does not. However, criticism has to be framed very carefully in order to avoid offending her, but once convinced that we do have a point, she follows our instructions entirely.
But unfortunately she also has a tendency to make poor judgments.

When she was barely two weeks with us, we thought about a short last-minute holiday. We asked her and she was enthusiastic, so we decided to go ahead. She turned up on the beach wearing a very tiny bikini. Apparently she didn't think about covering up her buttocks in front of us and our children because we might not like it. Our approach to nudity is fairly casual, so it wasn't a huge problem and we didn't comment on it, but she definitely should have thought about it.
She routinely ignores traffic rules while walking and in the car (passenger), like crossing streets when the light is red and not wearing a seatbelt. We told her not to give a bad example to our children and things are better now.
We said she could have a drink somewhere with our daughter after having bought make-up to apply together. She chose a Bierstube-resembling pub. It's a café primarly designed to drink alcohol (which she didn't order). Nothing bad happened, but again, she should have known that this establishment is not a good choice with a child.

Am I too fussy, too much insisting on my way of doing things?
There is one other issue, she sometimes wears revealing clothes (not always wearing a bra, low-cut tops, short shorts &c). Fashion is important to her, so it would be a personal issue to comment on. I definitely don't want to harm our relationship, because she is doing very well overall. On most days we do not have a problem with wearing revealing clothing, but there are exceptions. It's winter now here, so it's less urgent now, but I think that I will say something the evening before. What do you think of the following sentence 'We fully support your right to wear what you want, but tomorrow ... happens so we would prefer it if you wouldn't wear ...'?

I know AIDA latency is kind of useless as a performance metric, but I would have expected quite a bit lower than this. Is anything obviously wrong?
I have two sets of RAM: G.Skill 48gb 8000mhz cl40 (M-die) and TeamGroup Xtreem 32gb 8000mhz cl38 (A-die). The A-die kit certainly runs tighter timings, but I have equal-or-better latency with the G.Skill M-die kit.
