Hey chads and chadettes,
It's been a tough six months for the $KENDU community, and I want to apologise for banning/muting people who were fudding/questioning Miazaki's actions and "fudding Kendu" when really, they were fudding the blatantly bad choices of the man at the helm. Mods and Loyalists were trying to hold Kendu together as best we could because we deeply care about the project, its community, and all the friends we have made.
We took this zero-fud policy out of fear of repercussions. We are all heavily invested in Kendu financially and emotionally and didn't want the project to end or to leave it, so we were caught between a rock and a hard place, either fighting "fud" aggressively or being booted after all our work. In hindsight, it needed to reach the vicious boiling point it did so that this positive change could happen.
Now, we are rebuilding and, as shown in the rejection of the lows with Miazaki's departure, we're rebuilding from a point where you can have conviction and faith in the project again and be excited and confident to get friends, family and others in again. Confidence and conviction that was shattered over the last six months.
We forged through gritty, bloody, emotional events to create the most incredible crypto community on the planet, and I mean that sincerely. The Kendu community is almost mystical. Yesterday, so much passion, dedication, and care were shown in a climactic event that felt like the One Ring being cast into the fiery pits of Mount Doom and Sauron's army being defeated.
In the aftermath of that battle, we've survived to turn Kendu into the promised behemoth it was always meant to be. Moving forward, we have a team that has Kendu's and your best interests at heart.
So, let's run it up. Let's do what we Kendu. To the very, very, very top, frens.

2025.01.22 10:05 Dry-Razzmatazz-9762 AITA for not asking how a doctors appointment went?
The guy I'm seeing had a doctors appointment for his kid yesterday and I haven't asked how it went.
The kid had a blood test a few weeks back, they got the results a couple weeks ago. It came back that the kid has a low white blood cell count or something to that affect. But the doctor wasn't too concerned and they had a consultation scheduled for yesterday.
I had asked this guy a few days ago how he was feeling about it. And he said the doctors had said it wasn't anything severe and he wasn't gonna start looking into it too deeply until the consultation. Which makes sense, the Internet tends to throw up worst case scenarios So i think he was worried in anyway a parent would be worried that something is wrong, but wasn't thinking it's worst case scenario.
I then messaged him before the appointment just to say I hoped it went alright. And he texted back thanks.
I haven't heard from him today, which is not unusual cos he is at work. But I haven't messaged him to ask how it went.
Cos it if went badly, I don't wanna message while he's busy with that. But I also feel like i should message just to show that I care.
And I could wait for him to tell me, but he has a habit of not volunteering information. Like if I ask him a question he'll answer it but he won't bring it up unprompted. I don't have any problem with this as I am very much the same. But I also don't want him to think I don't care.
So AITA if I don't message him? Should i just message him?

He periodically watches birds with binoculars, he develops his first crush on a girl, buys a tonic from his uncle that he's told will grow hair on his chest. At the end he gets a hilarious pompadour haircut, tears in his eyes after being rejected by the girl, and walks down the street garnering attention. I have a vague recollection that the name of the film has something to do with birds.
