20F, 120 pounds, 5’5. I went to the ER a couple weeks ago with severe jaw swelling. I ended up getting sepsis due to a parotid abscess and underwent 2 surgeries.
They said it was a weird area to get an infection and that anything could’ve caused it. I’m worried I gave myself an infection. I smoked weed daily as a way to help with chronic pain due a chronic illness that’s unrelated, but around that time I also snorted Ketamine as my friends were doing it and eventually I got interested because they said it helped a lot with their depression/anxiety.
I don’t do any other drugs, I’m not one to usually do stuff like that. But is it possible smoking or snorting a substance once caused this? Ever since I left the hospital I haven’t smoked or anything like that as I don’t want to damage my health if that’s the reason.

Has anyone moved to a different part of the country (I'm in the UK) and changed neurologists/MS teams? Did that disrupt your DMT at all? I was very recently diagnosed and haven't started treatment yet. I want to start ASAP but I had also been planning a move in spring/summer. If I'm on, say, Kesimpta, will this mean that I'm not able to access it while I wait to get set up with a new team in the new location?
