several times a day, i would come across posts where people claim to send 10-15 job applications per day.
it gets very frustrating as i'm barely able to send two applications and i feel like i'm not doing enough.
before applying, i often have to make multiple changes to my résumé just to match the job description. from keywords in my projects, details of my work experience, my tech stack.
on top of that, some require a cover letter, some would ask motivation questions i.e. "why appeals to you about our comapny" and i would usually look up the company mission and values so i can write a tailored response.
all of this could easily take 45 minutes of cognitive effort, not to mention, having to grind LeetCode and keep up with my part time job.
even then, the rejection emails keep piling. it's exhausting and unrewarding.
i've repeatedly heard the job hunt is a numbers game, that said,
are tailored responses worth it?
or
am i better of writing something generic so i can get the numbers in?
i've been at this seven months and i've been doing around 3 hours a day. i can't help but wonder if i'm doing the right things.

A player got banned on "DBT's Vrooms" discord server, and shared this on the official Asphalt 8 server, so let's put this short story here too.
The player accused "ツAxelツJesko" of using cheats like his entire clan's memebers. Those who are interested in Asphalt 8, I think they know this cheater, because he WAS BANNED on the official Asphalt 8 server for cheats, i.e. Time Hack (Time-limited events) where you can choose the time, as well as Gauntlet and teleports and for Cheating Classic Rating. His clan members WERE BANNED too (at least most of them)
The player uploaded a video, and photos from THIS year that "ツAxelツJesko" is still cheating, and he should get ban on "DBT's Vrooms" discord server. BUT.. the admins of the "DBT's Vrooms" discord server decided to side with "ツAxelツJesko" and banned the player who uploaded photos and videos as evidence
If there is clear evidence that "ツAxelツJesko" is cheating, and the player gets banned for it, then doesn't "DBT's Vrooms" discord server protects cheaters?
What do you think, why did this happen? That's all.

Hello! I tried moddimg skyrim using vortex mod manager. At start everything was fine and it was playable. After some time and messing with some new mods, i messed up load order and the game wouldn't launch. After that i uninstalled all mods, deleted all skse folders and files, reinstalled the game. Did tge tutorial and tried to save afterwards in original game through original executable through steam. But the thing is...it corrupts save immediatly after saving game even in original game. What could go wrong? Can anybody else had this problem at some point and known how to fix save corruption situation? Maybe steam didnt uninstall game completely?

So to start off I understand that there is not such thing as a dream job but until now this one I very much liked. When at work I felt like time flew and enjoyed myself a lot sometimes working on the weekends not because I had to but because I was eager to find the solution of the problem.
I am 26. I have been working as a Data Scientist for this company for 3 years. When I started I loved the job, the coworkers and the projects I was involved in I learned new stuff each day but also was able to contribute a ton despite being young. Now 3 years later the coworkers and managers I loved to work with left and no one was hired in their place which led to more work and me working in a team of 1 with no one to bounce ideas back with.
I don't mind working hard what I mind is - now it seems the job has shifted from a data scientist to a software developer I have to do front end and back end work and this is not something I want. I can do the weekly tasks just fine the thing is if I continue like this in 5 years time I will have a different skillset compared to what I planned and what I believe I can be exceptional at. I will just be ok but I don't want just ok - That this is why I carefully chose this particular job that had to develop particular skills.
Before every day before work I listened to a song and it was a fun kick to start a new fun day now I listen to a song as it is the only fun in my whole day.
Now if I choose to stay I will stay and just do fine but do I want that - no. My only issue is that I am still disillusioned to believe the old projects will return realistically they won't and that I might not be able to find a job which would challenge and make me grow the same way this job did at the beginning.

Hi everyone! I recently bought a Bolex H16 in pretty good condition overall, right now it's being CLA'd, but I got no lenses yet.
I found a couple yvar lenses that I'm planning to get eventually but by now I would like to adapt some vintage soviet m42 lenses I have.
So looking for adapters I see that some convert the m42 mount to "CS" and I'm not sure the diference between that and regular "c" mount. Would that work for my camera too? It's a non reflex model if that males any diference. Thanks!! :)

I am trying to have google sheets show me how many youth came to my youth centre each day. The date is based on answers of a google form and what time they submitted it. The first column has both day and the date. I have managed to extract the date from A column to F column with a =DATEVALUE(A72) formula.
I have tried to have the dates be counted in the G column but nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me?
