2025.01.22 10:43 Tallywhacker73 Jimmy Butler's tanking needs to be a much bigger story. I'm pro player in 95% of cases, but this is just gross.
I've always loved Jimmy Butler's game and even his weirdness, but c'mon, he's shoving this tantrum in the face of the entire league. He took 9 shots tonight without Herro, after 7 shots against SA. He's not actively missing shots, intentionally turning it over - but he's certainly pout-tanking. And he knows it's obvious, and he wants everyone to know what he's doing. What a child.
He makes $49M this year with a player option for next year at $52, and nobody wants an injury prone 35yo at that. He has a negative value contract, and why would Miami want to give up additional assets when they could just wait out this year - and even next, if necessary - and not give up anything to let him walk?
This season is already tanked - in part thanks to Jimmy - and next year isn't looking great either. They have zero incentive to give away assets to get Butler what he wants.
And he can just walk away in the summer! Turn down that $52M player option and he's free as a bird, exactly what he wants! Free to sign with any team for any amount, no trade assets needed one way or the other.
But he doesn't want to do that either. Because he knows nobody will pay him the $52M he can opt into, thereby proving his contract is negative value and that Miami would have to pay - not receive - assets in any trade.
So c'mon man. Make your choice. Maybe the organization owes you some grace for how well you did your job and what you accomplished, but they legitimately looked for offers and there was nothing, and they don't owe you paying another team to take you off their hands.
You've made $260M playing basketball, before any marketing money. If you're still hard up for that $20M that you'll lose by opting out in the summer, then ok, shut up and do your job like anyone else who has no leverage, no (net) positive value.
Just stop with the pathetic pout-tanking. I'm embarrassed for you.

You know, even tho this game was quite bad from start, I liked it, I really did, but this abomination of an update is absolutely disgusting and I really hope these "devs" or evil bamco, I don't care, one thing I care is they should get fired, all of them and they should be never be able to work in this industry. Never. Why do I say that, well. Ahem, to get my stuff from weekly missions I now, must pay 500 crystals... Are you absolutely kidding me?!??!!?! I had all this stuff for free all this time and now this? And not only this, when a new character was released, the older ones could be bought character tickets, so I stocked up on those, got like 4 or 5 of them, and to my big surprise, I still couldn't buy Overhaul. Then WHY I HELL WE NEED THIS TICKETS AT ALL??? Greed is horrible thing and I hope it will catch up on them. You guys are great community, for real, but this trash is WAY TOO MUCH.

2025.01.22 10:43 evillrick Battery Issue, not getting charged, stuck at 0%. LOQ 15ARP9.
Bought the loq model just 2 months ago. The issue i'm facing is that the laptop doesn't boot without the ac adapter, and when the ac adapter is plugged in, the laptop boots up and operates normally except that the battery stays at 0%. Can anyone kindly suggest what I can do at this point? It's urgent.

I just finished season 2 and I am in 2 third of book 1 which is wool. I always believe that the books where the adaptation come from are better than the series or movies. In the silo case I found the series more interesting and mysterious than the books. I tried to read the book to get more of the vibes in the world of silo. Specially about dictatorship of the owners and rebellions which happened. However, the book narration style confuses me alot. Sometime it is so well-paced, but sometimes it is really confusing and boring. Since the second season also feels the same to me. I was thinking is it something only for half of the book 1 and shall I continue? or the whole series feels the same and I should drop the reading here?
