Hi everyone,
Im a 36 male who is the bread maker of my family (wife, 2 kids and 2 dogs). 3 years ago I was a precision engineer running CNC’s and so much more, the owner of the company took me a side one morning and had a 1-2-1 chat with me telling me how he wants to retire and would like me to learn EVERYTHING so I could take over when he was ready. I was shocked about this as there was a Manager above me. Unfortunately on his way home from his wedding anniversary in Scotland, he had a crash killing him & his wife survived. She took charge and then put the Manager in charge everything turned toxic so I left the company and had a career change and also went self employed, this wasnt a permanent thing but Im currently still doing it and dont want to since my sister passed away near this time last year.
I’m currently doing a cyber security course online and as much as this is going to level me up a little bit I want something bigger. My company has turned over £28k in ‘24 which is so hard to live on. I was on £45k as a precision engineer so took a massive paycut but only stayed at that company because of what the owner said to me in that 1-2-1.
I did start an online shop for print on demand things end of ‘23 early ‘24 but gave up again which my sister passed away.
My wife has her own beauty salon but with all overheads she doesn’t actually bring any money home YET.
There is several things I want to do, but are way out of reach when one of the courses costs between £10-20k. I have zero money for savings, havent been on holiday for 12 years since my son was born. My mental health has gone downhill since being the only money maker in the family (again since my son was born).
Would someone please help me in leveling myself up? I’d love to learn high value skills, but not sure what they are!
If I’ve missed anything out or something doesnt make sense please let me know, Im dyslexic so get things wrong!

A simple manipulation hatsu based on the Dunning Kruger Effect.
Whenever someone (the enemy) takes action against the user of Mount stupid, the Hatsu is activated. The more confident the user in in their actions against the user, the more likely they are to fail.
This Hatsu effects the targets cognitive abilities only.
For example: An expert sniper takes aim at the user, fully confident in their ability to never miss a target. Mount stupid activates, and suddenly the user miscalculated the angle of their attack and the wind speed, causing their shot to miss. Believing they are jodden, they miscalculate the position of the sun relative to their sniper scope and the reflection reveals their position.
An enhancer believes they can easily kill the user. This confidence activates Mount stupid, and they are subconsciously forced to pull their punch.
A grand master chess player makes simple blunders and bad plays
However, the less confident someone is in their actions against the user the more likely they are to succeed.
Valley of despair: Emission: 100%, enhancement:80%
The less confident the user is in their ability, the faster they learn. This is done via emission, where microscopic portals are created at synapses which allow nervous impulses to bypass them, greatly increasing the speed of nerve transmission. This results in the user being able to absorb information more rapidly. Enhancement is used to increase the rate at which information is stored into long term memory by enhancing how quickly new brain cells/networks form.
As the user gains skill and confidence the ability has diminishing returns.

It happened in a group of ads I use for testing. My ad in that group was gone and someone posted this weird pants ad for men... Like... how?? And they used some of our money from the account... 2025.01.22 11:40 ImmaBun Problem with syncing enemy spawn due to lag

Enemy spawns every 0.2 beat. Going from right to left. There's one of them that's off.
I'm using a plugin called RhythmNotifier which allows me to sync enemy spawn to the beat. Though I don't have a very powerful pc and sometimes it stutters (at least I think so, my fps stayed at 60 all the time though) and it causes the enemies spawn time to be slightly off. Apparently this time the enemy was spawned earlier for some reasons.
Here's how I manage enemy spawn:

for event in event_queue: if event.time == 0: read_event(event) # Read event immediately else: GameManager.rn.beats(event.time, false).connect(func(count): read_event(event))
I've tried relying on timers and audio playback before and I still get the same problem. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Good morning to all my beautiful ladies I’ve been a little MIA the past couple days and that’s because I had surgery yesterday morning At the moment I’m still in the hospital But I think this was a good time to update everybody that I am doing OK just a lot of pain but also take a moment because I have been doing this for five years to give a little piece of advice that I’ve learned
Not all money is good money and not all submissive deserve to submit you deserve to worship you.
i’ve had two of my submissive actually check on me since being in the hospital a few of them have not because they realized I’m not in the mood to play
My perfect too obviously both sent me a couple hundred dollars and I’ve been texting me checking in seeing how I feel
The ones that are cut off if I am willing to have a session since you know I’m in the hospital not doing anything disregard the fact that I had stomach surgery and disregard the fact that I am in pain

The entire reason the Sanctum Magicals weren’t put on Magical Nexus was because there wasn’t enough space to accommodate them, with 43 total monsters in the Magical class, plus their Rares and Epics. All of the Santum Magicals plus the Ethereals totals up to 46. That’s even worse, and while most of those Rares and Epics don’t exist yet, the island won’t be able to handle them all once they do.
