Screen bleeding or IPS glow

Hi everyone. I haven t posted very often. My due date is June 30th and I hang out mostly in the July forum but thought that maybe someone here might be able… Fast forward to what we know now. IPS is a sceening test that gives you probabilty based on blood work and ultrasound results. It is not diagnostic and does not diagnose genetic diseases. 5-7% of the population will test positive with and IPS screen and 97% of those are false positives. Eberyone should know this before they take tbis journey. (Free of charge as I failed the first screen). Since then I am getting much more monitoring than with my singleton pregnancy especially for baby growth and cervical length. I am 27.5 weeks and have already had 4 ultrasounds since the IPS screen one. I would also do your own research on weight gain. I read Dr. Luke's When Your're Expecting Twins. I had a positive IPS screen, not for T18 but for Down syndrome (1/160, compared to the avg. of 1/220 for my age), and then had two soft markers for Ds on my 19 week ultrasound. I did the Harmony test 2 weeks ago and am waiting on the results. IPS is free in BC for women 35+ in BC. Two blood tests plus NT ultrasound. The NIPT/ Harmony is not covered. Only way is self-pay. With NIPT there is also a false positive chance so just as with IPS you would need an amnio for certainty. I agree NIPT is quicker and quite accurate but $800 is a a lot of money. You're correct that the IPS test is to screen for various abnormalities including Downs. Screen bleeding or IPS glow Bought a new laptop.. my laptop screen looks like this in dark room..my phone camera exaggerates the glow.. under normal brightness I don't see any glow.. But under full brightness in dark room..in the edges I can see screen bleeding... Is this an issue?? Should I return or ask for replacement?

My crestie escaped yesterday and spent the better part of 24 hours under the fridge. I caught him last night, but after closer inspection this morning he appears to be pretty badly injured on one of his back feet. I’m not sure if the black stuff covering it is dirt or dried blood. He is refusing to put weight on it as much as possible, and it appears much more shriveled than his other three feet. I’m going to get him into a vet as soon as I can, but no one is open yet. I took the best pictures I could.

I have suffered from Fibromyalgia since I was six. I work for a small independent publisher (Linen Press) whose director suffered with ME/CFS for years following a viral illness. Recently we received an amazing submission, The Sun-Room, from a young writer, Jess Watts, about her experience of Long Covid after she became ill in 2020 and had to leave university. I’m so used to other books which are all about misery, but Jess really conveys the anger and frustration, and the upset at being left behind in a world that doesn’t understand. She is still very unwell, but she has thrown what energy she has into this project, for herself, and for others like her who are confined to a room. It’s a short prose poem about 10,000 words.
Please do keep an eye out. It will be published in April this year. It would mean the world to me if you would highlight this book. It's so important that people start to understand things from our side!

My paystub is always shown by 10am on insite but wasn’t yesterday. I spoke to a full time coworker of mine around 2pm yesterday to see if it was an individual issue for me and they said it wasn’t because they also hadn’t received their paystub. Before I left I spoke to a manager of mine about it and she first said paychecks are given on Friday and that it was Tuesday, I let her know my pay stub shows Tuesday morning then she told me HR might be taking longer to do payroll because the seasonal period is about to end. I can’t think of why payroll would be more complex for HR just because the seasonal period is ending but of course my knowledge as to why is low since I’m not part of HR.
