Instagram disabled me for account integrity, my account is allegedly fake. That's not true. It's my main personal account.
No, I can't pay anything. I'm a student in a third world country. So if anyone can offer solutions without paying. The phone number connected to my account is outdated so I can't even recover it. My email account is active but it's not included in the choices (when they send you a code). I've been messaging their gmail repeatedly

2025.01.22 16:00 tola_lo Thoughts on whether to get cerclage at 13 weeks
I had my first baby at 31 weeks due to a short cervix. When I went in for my anatomy scan at 21 weeks my cervix was measuring just barely below 25mm. They started me on progesterone and weekly monitoring (or every two weeks - I can't remember). By 31 weeks, they had already stopped measuring my cervix, so I don't know what I was measuring at then, but the same week I went into their office, I delivered the baby.
This time around, I just had a consultation with the MFM, and she noted how not everyone with a history of short cervix has a short cervix in subsequent pregnancies. So we can go the monitoring/ progesterone route again after 16 weeks, and if I need to put an emergency cerclage in, they can do so. Or I can get a cerclage essentially next week as I am already 13 weeks pregnant.
I had already been set on doing a cerclage as I thought I had read about there being an increased risk of delivering even earlier in subsequent pregnancies for people with short cervixes (although I don't know where I read that). However, after discussing with the MFM, it seemed that while there's a risk I can deliver early again, there also seems to be a decent chance that I may not deliver early again and can go the same monitoring and progesterone route. I am again not being placed on bed rest - and frankly, given my schedule with work and the kid, it would be very hard to be on bed rest unless I get the slight surgery, which, at that point, I can make a case to my family and ex to help more.
The way she described the cerclage seemed like there were more risks than benefits vs going the monitoring route and getting an emergency cerclage in a little later which is why I am on the fence now about getting the cerclage so early. But I still think I would just prefer the peace of mind of having the cerclage in now vs waiting and seeing every week (understanding I still will get monitored with some level of frequency).
I have read many succesful cerclage and progesterone/ bed rest stories on here. So I guess I'm mostly wondering how folks made the decision to go whatever route they chose.
