I use to play a lot before and during covid and have recently returned after a 2-3 yr hiatus. Since I haven't played, there are a lot of emojis I missed out on and I understand that, but I'm getting super frustrated that I have not been able to finish not one event since I started playing again. Usually it's because I don't have the required emoji. When I originally looked at everything for the Winter Pete event I was super stoked because I thought I had it....My Pearl Daisy is not a level two, my Seashell Daisy is not a level 4, and I don't have the other options, so I am locked out of finishing Winter Pete, and Winter Daisy, being offered for the very first time, is not even available in the diamond box. I spent $20 for 800 gems with fingers crossed, hoping I would pull her; Daisy's one of my favorite characters. I want to collect all the Daisys....I got another Seashell Daisy, which was fine, but I wasn't spending another $20 to try and get Winter Daisy. The fact that she's brand new, is one of the required emojis to finish the event, and is not available anywhere else except for an 800 gem "try your luck box" is frustrating to me. Thanks for letting me vent.

Ho avuto una discussione in azienda per la scelta della nuova stampante, fondamentalmente mi si chiede l'impossibile: Una laser B/N che costi non più di 250€, toner economici, f/r auto, scansione decente da adf. La stampante deve sostenere un volume di 500 stampe a settimana.
È già la seconda stampante che viene cambiata perché, giustamente, non durano nulla. E nella testa del mio capo siccome la sua da 100€ gli dura da 7 anni quella da 200€ deve durare altrettanto.
Noleggio non se ne parla, 70€/ mese per una laser 4 colori? Troppi.
Vorrei evitare HP perché so già che saremo obbligati all'acquisto dei toner originali, che più o meno costano quanto il noleggio. Quali marche sono da evitare? Per esperienze positive passate mi lancerei su una brother, ma il modo in cui le scansioni verso il pc sono macchinose rispetto a soluzione più professionali. Ma su questo range di prezzo credo sia impossibile pretendere di meglio.

My project, Transformers: Origins, is planned as a 3D animated show. For this reason, we are looking for 2D artists to help storyboard and design characters and scenery. i was kinda iffy on them from the leaked preview a while back but seeing it in 3d, i feel like i was kinda right.. its still cute but imo it just doesnt really match the overall shape and feel of the hairstyle 😭 im also really confused as to how it holds its shape?? it looks like its just glued to the hair until about halfway down.
sorry im just being nitpicky tho lol. overall its a cute and unique hairstyle, i just would have personally liked it better without the extra braids.

So I have been writing a novel as a hobby which is inspired from indian myhtology/history and I am often overwhelmed my so many possibilities in my mind . I was reading about super symmetry mechanicsm when a thought struck my mind .
According to our ancient texts , whole mahayuga is like a wheel , divided in kal yoga, satyuga etc. In an circular order , but we often look everything there as past but if it's a circle, then it might just be our future too , after kal yuga. And that would explain those celestial weapons and supernatural beings .
super symmetry discards it though , but supersymmerty had a major breakthrough 2 decades ago and might just be false , so who knows it might turn out true
I Just love believing my theories , cause hey ! It's not like you ever gonna meet a god neither they will make a major breakthrough in science in our lifetime , so might as well belive what we think right?
Ps: I hate science, I made a mistake taking it in my class 12th , but these complex subjects just looks so bigger than life that i can't keep myself contained in knowing them more . I think our education system ruined it for me , but their is nothing we can do ........ man i talk a lot 😅

I have a 2017 Passat, 2.0TDI, with 3 zone climate control. I discovered that through the rear AC vents (the ones that are part of center console), although the AC is set to SYNC, either the flow of air is extremely low or, even when you feel some air coming through, it's actually cold despite the AC temp being set to 22 and the air coming through the front vents is warm and at a high flow.
I've looked in the settings menu but there's no option to increase the flow to one area or the other.
Does anyone else have this situation? Is there a solution for it?

2025.01.22 11:37 CelestialFury The MAGA Supreme Court is a real bastard for giving Trump immunity of all "official acts"

Sorry, I don't know where else to post this exactly, but I had a thought that came up. So we all know the SCOTUS ruled in favor of immunity for the POTUS (even though the Founders specifically didn't include any immunity clause when they wrote the US constitution), but it's not like history matters to the right-wing members of the court.
Trump wrote a series of EO orders including trying to end birthright citizenship. The 14th amendment grants that:

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

So when this goes to the courts, the EO will likely be shot down. It would be insane if it wasn't, EVEN with this terrible SCOTUS. Since Trump has immunity for all "official acts" he'll just discard the courts to a degree (or maybe even all together). What he'll do is tell the Social Security Administration that they will not grant certificates and IDs to new babies born from immigrants unless they can prove that they are a US citizen, effectively making new babies stateless. He may even get governors to stop issuing birth certificates in their states as well. Again, depriving newborn babies of statehood.
Now, this is just one executive agency. He could do this for all of them. Hopefully their incompetence stops them from achieving their evil plans (a lot of Trump's new EOs were written with AI, which means they are likely not using lawyers to review and come up with them). However, since the absolute BASTARD of the SCOTUS gave Trump immunity, he's just going to do whatever he wants and continue the nightmare that is Project 2025. If Trump stops listening to the SCOTUS completely, then they would've played themselves.
