Hey members of Reddit.
I have a Venu 2 watch and I love it but when I train boxing it can get in the way and I’m also required to take it off at work.
I’m wondering, is there any way I can still track my heart rate and cal without wearing the watch but so the app picks it up?
Is there like a heart rate monitor or something like a whoop but just directly connects to the Garmin app?

I’m a captain of a D3 college ultimate team and our rapidly growing team has been struck by an uncontrollable rash of shin splints, back pain, and loose ankles. Normally I’d think they’re faking but I tried threats and bribery and they still won’t run!I’m looking to find the most common ultimate injuries and ideally find workouts I can give my players to prevent them. Very open to input, including but not limited to, “just go see a PT”. We are very limited on funds and access to trainers. Specifically I’m looking for recovery and preventative care focused on strengthening joints and shin splints as those seem to be our biggest problems. Thanks for your help!

I'm used to being able to eat baked goods without worrying about them having animal fats, because the stigma against saturated fat got them out of most baked goods in the US. Obviously I don't get meat pies, and generally avoid pies altogether, because they're the most common exception.
But I'm concerned that practices might be different in New Zealand. So I wonder if I need to avoid baked goods altogether on my trip.

As the title suggests, looking for some tips on passing slower drivers.
My last few races I’ve been at fault with some incidents due to not being able to slow down fast enough when taking turns with a driver in front of me. Usually I sit back and try to keep my distance to avoid this, but sometimes I can’t tell how much the driver in front of me is slowing down.
Any tips/advice to get better at detecting when a driver is going to take a corner slower than usual? I don’t want to keep ruining races or causing 4x for drivers who are typically safe.

My goal is to build a budget PC that runs 1080p very well, and 1440p at least on par with PS5 performance.
I'm getting a monitor for free but will upgrade soon to have much faster refresh rates.
Does this list seem pretty solid for the amount of money I'm putting in?
