 | Small-scale winter sowing – Question about use of “thermal reservoir” water jugs Sowed a few seeds in milk jugs last week, 15 January, right after one winter storm, right before this latest hard freeze arrived. NE Texas. Decided to try something that I hadn’t seen mentioned in the usual discussions, but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea or not. I put a row of 2-quart water bottles in the middle, caps in place, between two rows of milk jugs, in which the seeds were planted. (Some were 1-gallon and some were ½ gallon.) Thought the water jugs sitting next to the seed-containing jugs might slightly reduce wide temperature swings since they would store some heat from the sun during the day and release it at night. Our nights are in the teens or 20's (F degrees) and our days are in the 30's and lower 40's (but sunny.) Mainly sowed early-season, cool-weather crops, brassicas and such. Would like to be able to transplant them sometime in early March. Wondering if anyone else has tried something similar and wondering if it was helpful or counterproductive. My concern is that it might work against the natural cold stratification process and cause the seeds to germinate prematurely. Thanks! You're offered 1k for every pill you take paid out yearly. Each pill will add 1lb to your body weight. For example if you take 10 pills you will gain 10 lbs, and receive 10k every year for the rest of your life. Once you agree to how many pills you will be given a bottle and you must consume every pill you agreed to within 1 year. You can spread it out however you like. If you accept 10 pills, and only consume 9 you will get no money, and keep the weight.
Payment is based on when the pill is first taken, and exactly one year after. If you agree to 12 pills and take 1 pill on the 1st of every month, you will get 1k on the 1st of every month for the rest of your life.
The weight added to your body cannot be lost. You can still gain/lose weight through normal means. If you lose a leg, the weight will be re dispersed throughout the remainder of your body.
The weight is evenly dispersed, but won't actually make you look bigger. You will still feel the extra weight, and you will actually weight more. If you take too many pills you may break a chair or something.
The extra weight can effect your body. You may for example end up having bad knees from supporting more weight, or you may become tired from having to carry around more weight.
The extra weight isn't noticeable to others, but if you sit on them, or step on a scale your weight will definitely be noticeable.
