I know I post and delete a lot. I also know I definetly shouldn’t be having these feelings. And I shouldn’t be posting them on Reddit at the ripe age of 24. But I am. Cuz I want to talk about this bad I’m tired of bothering my friends about it.
Anyway. He drives me literally insane [ as insane as it is to gush all this out about him on Reddit ], and I bet he has no fricking idea. We’re just friends. It’s ok. I want to be more but I’m not in the best place, and I don’t know enough to know if he is, but I adore talking to him. We’ve been texting a lot the past few days and shockingly he’s always texting first- I figure he does that with all his friends but idc, I love talking him- and his humor, it works perfectly with mine- which is something that bothered me so much with my ex, that I couldn’t be myself without upsetting him. This man accepts it and gives it right back and I fkn love it.
Not even to mention what it feels like when I see him. We work together and I basically spent all of this shift trying to keep myself from staring at him, all because he had the audacity to simply roll up his sleeves and for some reason that was the hottest thing to me. My friend had to hear about it for half the shift- luckily she loves hearing me gush about how insanely sexy I find this guy, and appariently she wanted me to date him before I even came back- or even started liking my ex.
I know it’s silly and if he is a Reddit user- which I wouldn’t be shocked about honestly- he’s gonna see this and my grown ass is gonna weird him out, but I just had to talk about it. If only when I attempted to flirt he took the hint. Maybe there’s nothing there and I just dug myself into a hole when I was trying to not fall for anyone else, but here we are.

Dear nice people,
since Oct. 2023 I am transitioning and wear Vivobarefoot Gobi III 95% of the time when I am out. At home: barefoot since yrs, always. When I wear regular shoes I often remove the inner sole for creating some more space. I will continue this journey.
I have/had GBS since October 2023 (see my posts) and still have lots of trouble with my hips, pelvis, etc. Why mentioning? This makes it difficult for me too run pain free. As an avid runner I must, with reluctance, run when possible only or consider fast-hiking otherwise. Building up.
The transitioning I think doesn't give me much trouble, it at all. Once we get mild weather I will continue to try walking running unshod (slowly yes).
If I wouldn't HIKE, I'd opt for chrecking out Altras (go to a store, try them on, based on info on Reddit) and use not or less my Asics Kayano light 2 (street), Asics Sonom 6 (trail) and Asics Noosa Tri 14 (street, fast). I am on technical and rough terrain often. So unshod or with 2mm flat sole zero drop is not an option.
But, now that it is a combo of running and fast-hiking....I am going to Austrian mountains for 5 days hiking (day sessions, in April) but I am also planning to do the Hermannsweg in Germany in one go which I live nearby to (in May?) about 155km (asphalt max 15km, rest natur) in less than 35hrs hopefully.
I am considering either using my regular Asics Sonoma 6 because of the cushion and great fit (toe space is soso ofc.) or ... purchasing Vivobarefoot Magna Forest ESC because of zero drop and grip or a suitable Altra with zero drop and cushion and grip. (Should be water-rep or proof).
Considering the want to spend roughly 200 Euro only once.... for such a long distance, what would you advice? Or other options?
Note: I can take a spare pair of shoes with me since I am carrying a load anyway in my Ortovox Peak 35.

Basically, I'm an IT guy who has been tasked with creating a real-time data dashboard and I have no clue what I'm doing or where to start. This is completely out of my area of expertise and I have very little experience with visual analytics and data engineering outside of minor Power BI and Tableau.
I work in a manufacturing environment and they want me to connect to the machinery via SQL server connection or ODBC and manipulate the data into a format where they can display their metrics on a screen to track production numbers. I feel confident that I could create what they are looking for in Power BI if they weren't requiring near real-time date, I have no clue how to approach that. What software, tools, resources, etc. should I look at using to accomplish this?

i'm not really sure if that was a good thing to say because i don't really have any past experience and i'm worried that if i end up not getting any replies back from the rest i'll lose my only option

*Apologies if this idea has been done to death*
Sega should 100% take some inspiration from their other new hit series and blend the ARPG combat elements into Like a Dragon and make a true hybrid system.
For those of you who haven't played it yet, Metaphor has a hybrid system that overworld fights are done in real time, if the enemy is low leveled and won't give much xp you can kill them in a few hits without the game switching over to Turn Based. If the enemy is strong enough then you'll start combat with an advantage if you manage to hit them enough to knock them back and you'll start with a disadvantage should you mess up and take a hit from them.
God i'd kill to be able to walk around and get a few good hits in, smash some heads with a bike lying around and then have it switch over to turn based if the enemies are a high enough level to justify it.
The reduction on the low level grind alone would be amazing.

Surely I can't be the only one here seeing the potential Zinny has in that left sided 8 role? He's arguably our most technically gifted player (aside from Odegard) and plays in midfield for Ukraine.
In my eyes, it could create a lot better balance in the team, much like how Xhaka played there in his last season at the club.
Yes we're missing Saka and need a true striker but if everything is playing down the right side with a clearly exhausted Odegard & Saka (when he's back) then teams will just overload that side every time and we'll continue to be predictable.
IMO there's a lot Arteta could do with this squad and I'm sure he's got his reasons but to me it doesn't make sense. Looking at how we are playing every 3 days but sold Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Viera and of course Nelson went on loan. Now I'm hearing that Zinny & Tierney might be sold considering how short our squad already seems to be, it's frustrating but oh well.
What does everyone think about this though, Zinny in midfield, yes or no?
