English speaker looking to make a jump in my Dutch language level from A2 to B1/B2 via an intensive course.
I took part in the Gemeente language course via Zoom in 2020 and did some 1-2-1 language lessons up until summer 2023. Both fine, but I'd prefer not to do online lessons again, and for both time and money reasons cannot afford to go back to my lovely 1-2-1 tutor (100% can make a recommendation if you are interested and living in Central Amsterdam)
I have kept my A1/A2 (ish) level up through Duolingo and conversational learning with Dutch colleagues but want to flip over to being fluent before the end of spring 2025.
Budget is roughly 1K EUR. Can anyone recommend a course in Amsterdam? Or give feedback on courses they would not choose...

I started TRT through a clinic about 3 months ago. I got banned from trt for asking about pricing comparisons across countries to figure out of mine was expensive or not - so I’m trying to word this enquiry as careful as possible to avoid misinterpretation and avoid a ban Hammer 🤞🏼
I started off with belly fat jabs quite happily. Was impressed/relieved about them being pain free and got off to a good start with treatment. 0.25ml twice a week of T Cyp for a 100mg starter dosage a week. Gradually though, the SubQ sites started to swell and get itchy. Bloods came back with crazy erroneous ( deemed ) numbers and the doc took me to 3x a week of 0.16ml subQ. The bumps got worse and in more locations now were taking 4-5 weeks to settle down.
I then went IM in the delts and wow…trouble free…but short lived … after 3 doses in left shoulder, it is now itchy in a different spot to dosage site but only a few inches away. Tried to go SubQ after this week or two break and Boom….worst reaction yet and shown in this photo ^
Anyone else get steadily more allergic/resistant to receiving injections?

My friend (term used loosly right now) didnt show up last night to grab me so we could go to work. I had to use a scooter and like 3 layers to make it there in 15º weather at 11 o'clock at night..
His mother works with us and she offered to help get in contact with him but I explicitly told her to let him stay home. At that moment I did NOT want to see him.
But she contacted him anyway and he showed up 45 minutes late. I didnt talk to him all night, I was too pissed. I know he won't admit to being hungover or whatever but I could hear him puking in the bathroom and aside from that, I know him too well.
I left this morning without saying much of anything to him

Hello friends. I'll cut the long intro and just say you can add me to the list of 'looking to expand my arsenal because of the Trump/Nazi government'.
I did some searching and read the wiki, but I also wanted to post b/c I know NJ is a tricky state for firearm restrictions. I have been a gun owner since about 2010, but only ever owner a couple of bolt action mossberg's and savages (my current lone firearm is a .223 savage axis). I have lots of experience shooting all manner of firearms, but haven't shot regularly in about 8 years.
I want to expand my arsenal and upgrade my gear from the simple range bag I have now. A couple of Q's I have that I am hoping someone who understands NJ restrictions can break down for me in layman's terms:
- I am looking to buy a handgun, something subcompact and 9mm under $500. I know I need a separate license for a handgun, is there anything else I should be aware of for this process? (for reference, looking at a Ruger EC9s in 9mm).
- I want to get a semi-auto rifle in a larger caliber than .223, but (a) I don't want to spend too much (under $800) and (b) I don't want something that is very long. I've been researching NJ compliant Rifles online, and the items I see for in these lists often times seem to break some of the rules outlined on nj.gov. For example (and I'm sure I'll get meme'd to death for this), I was interested in the SBR size, so I looked at the Hi-Point 9TS Carbine, but that seems to break various SBR rules. Does anyone have clarity/NJ compliant recommendations that I should explore?
- What else? I have a couple of very robust and hidden safes in the house that I can store the weapons and ammunition separately, I have a good cleaning kit and bench from when I was shooting more often, but I don't have any gear to carry magazines, plates, etc, what are the value/affordable entry-level options? Ditto for a medical kit, should I build my own, or are the pre-made ones better for cost? And that's just what I can think of at the moment, I'm sure I'm making other glaring omissions.

Most of this happened about twenty years ago. I purchased the card seen here on eBay, probably around the year 2001. As my interest in vintage cards grew, I decided that I'd focus my future collection on T206 cards. Around 2003, I decided to sell a few cards that had some value, and since this was the only 1948 Bowman I had, I listed it on eBay. It was raw, and in exactly the same shape as when I bought it. I added some generic language that the card was "as is." I have no idea how much the buyer paid, but it wasn't much - somewhere in the $80-100 range.
About two weeks later, I start getting very aggressive messaging from the buyer through eBay's system, telling me that he had sent it to PSA it it came back as "trimmed." He demanded his money back. I told him that I hadn't trimmed it, it had been sitting in a box ever since I bought it, in the same penny sleeve and top loader that I received 2 or 3 years before. His messages got more and more aggressive, so I finally relented, sent him his money back, and he returned the card with supposedly the PSA sticker. This was before the holograms.
I just chalked it up as me getting screwed by the guy who sold it to me. Since it was two years later, I figured he'd accuse me of trimming it if I tried to circle back to him. Even today, I don't see evidence of trimming. The card has the right dimensions. I don't think I've sold anything since then. I'm thinking of submitting this to SGC next month when I plan on sending in some t206s for grading.
