It’s puff pastry, with a red pepper cream cheese, onion powder, garlic powder and boiled broccoli twisted and in the oven. Super simple but honestly she loved it. She cringed when she first touched it but finally finished a meal in a long time 🥹 she also had advocating and raspberries on the side. Моя сім'я не те щоб багата, але раз в 4-5 років може дозволити собі витратитись на те щоб полікувати зуби одному з близнюків чи купити відносно нові телефони. І я в цій сім'ї ЗАВЖДИ вирізнявся досить слабким здоров'ям, як фізичним так і психологічним(колись в школі розридався через те що олівці впали на підлогу і тепер я не зможу повернути їх в коробку в тому порядку, в якому вони були коли їх купляли).
Так це часто призводило до проблем, крім того що я часто не міг виконати більше 15 фізичних вправ з легким ступенем навантаження або не міг відкрити пляшку води, я часто хворів, і мій імунітет був не те щоб на дні, але не так далеко від дна я вважаю. І це, в додачу до епілепсії яка в мене так і не підтверджений діагноз, вимагало грошей на лікувальні препарати(довгий час багато грошей йшло на досить дорогий як я вважаю препарат від приступів епілепсії який притуплював мою чутливість до навколишнього середовища і був обезболюючим).
Але моя сім'я, чомусь, як я помітив досить дивним чином не могла або не хотіла хоча б там стабільно раз в рік купляти щось що могло б складати домашню аптечку(пластирі, перекись, бинт, жаропонижаюче, антивірусні препарати, проти кашля тощо). З такою частотою моїх захворювань виділити хоча б четверть бюджету який йшов на солодощі або купівлю подарунків/оновлень такої техніки як чайники і телефони, на медичні препарати які б точно були вдома в наявності з не просроченим терміном придатності, було б ЛОГІЧНО.
Спойлер: ніхто цим не займається. Колись в не чіткі періоди часу буває купуються якісь ліки, свічки, тощо, але от перевірити терміни придатності минулорічних покупок препаратів - таке практикують дуже рідко, і як наслідок хвороби стають несподіванкою і в основному приносять кошмарні дні в які багато планів порушуються, і матері одиначкі в нашій сім'ї приходитться їхати в аптеку в крайній срок.
Так от, зіткнувшись з такою ситуацією сьогодні, я вирішив що раціонально буде що якщо в мене буде сім'я і будуть плануватися діти я обов'язково буду виділяти деякі кошти на препарати, щоб такої хуйні не повторювалось.
Так от, питання: яка ситуацція з цим питанням у вас, читачі в Реддіт? У вас це відбувається інакше і більшість необхідних речей коли потрібно досить доступне чи ні? Поділіться своїми думками та досвідом!

Hi all,
Just shy of two years ago I build my pc with a lot of help from people in this sub and I would like to enlist your help again.
I bought a XFX Speedster MERC 319 Radeon RX 6950 XT 16 GB for €659. However, it caused my pc to shutdown a couple of times in December. I just heard that it can't be repaired and I've gotten my money back. The 6950 XT is no longer available for that price, so I'm looking for another GPU. Before the 6950 XT I had a 1070 ti which worked wonders for years and years. I'm not sure whether jumping back to NVIDIA is the move or whether this 6950 XT was a fluke and I should stay with AMD.
I kinda want a new GPU sooner than later, but can stretch it to wait for the NVIDIA 5000 series. I'm in the Netherlands, so prices might be a bit different compared to the states. My CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
The last games I've played are Horizon: Forbidden West, Star Wars Jedi Survivor and Assassin's Creed Origins. The Last of Us and Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales are on the list.
Needs: Want to keep the GPU for at least 5 years and I want to be able to play games 1440p high settings. I don't really care about raytracing, but do like DLSS/FSR.

I recently interviewed for a Business Analyst role. I thought the interview went really well. Later that day I got the mail that I was not selected for the next round. This really confused me so I called the HR and asked her the reason for rejection. She read back the reason that the interviewer had provided. It said that I was relying too much on past experiences and didn't know how to handle a new situation.
What had happened was that they asked me how would I decide which automation solution to go for if a new project came up and I told them how I had done this in the past and how I would use the same process if something new came up.
Also, during the interview one of the guy kept mixing ML and NLP so I had to correct him.
I don't get it. Isn't having past experience a good thing. Am I not supposed to use my 9 years of experience and start anew every time? Do you think they were pissed off that I corrected them.
I just wanted some outside opinion.

Hi, I’ve been on mounjaro for 10 months and have gone up super slowly, staying on 5mg for the past 3 months with no problems. I’m almost at GW and have stalled, so I decided to get a 7.5mg pen and do 5.5mg worth of clicks. It has FLOORED me. Heart palpitations, sickness, headaches etc, just feel terrible. Has anyone else had a strong reaction to a small increase and did it get better? I wish I stayed where I was but the scale stopped moving 😕

Hey everyone! this is such a silly post that i feel is so minuscule compared to other posts under this subreddit. I’m gonna be as vague as possible just in case my friends find this.
This all started a few months ago when my parents went out and came back home and told me that they had a piece of jewelry custom made for me. this obviously had me excited as they don’t usually do stuff like this for me and i found it very sweet that they thought to do that for me. my mother even showed me pictures of it as it was being made and its progress.
fast forward to now when my mother picks the piece up from the store while i wasn’t home. my little sister got home before me that day and they were checking out the piece and trying it on. I get a call on the way home and my mother says that the piece is a bit big but doesn’t say much about altering it to my size. she brings up that it fits my sister almost perfectly. I feel like i already know where this is going but i continue the conversation. she says that my sister said she wanted it if i didnt ( i did in fact want it). I told her that i did want it and my mother laughed so I assumed she was joking and we ended the call. I get home and she’s given it to my sister and tells her that she’ll even get her another one. i feel confused and bit hurt but i stay quiet. I walk into the room and my sister does in fact have the piece on and says nothing about giving it back to me or just “trying it on”. I feel very upset about this but Im trying to play it off as if I dont, as my parents don’t see sentiment in objects the way i do. I feel guilty for feeling like this as this is basically nothing and not that important however i can’t help but feel as if they’ve done this a million times in other situations and it makes me sad that i feel as if they don’t value me. so AITAH for being upset and feeling this way?

It is amazing there are so many people here in this forum trying hard to spread biased misinformation and CCP propaganda, defending the CCP censorship.

This post appears to explain why the images of China presented on Rednote look so good. It provides a list of related factors which can be part of the causes. But it does not mention the dominant factor - the heavy censorship, which hides all the negative side of the realities. The Chinese government and the controlling authorities enforce strong bias to present information which look good, and blocks the information looking negative, and even use police to threaten people for telling negative side of the reality. Of course, you will see a rosy illusion there.
I pointed out that, and then got blocked by the OP of that post. Typical like in China. There is only one-side propaganda, and the voices from the other side are not allowed.
But here Reddit is in this free world. It is outside of the China Great-Firewall. People are free to lie, and believe the lies. People are also free to expose the lies, to present the other side of the information. I will try my best to dispute the the distortions, to get things straight.
I still receive notifications on the new replies to me under that post. Being blocked, I cannot respond there.
So, I will just "at" people and respond to them here. I will also continue to make more comments here in regards to that post.

This is ignoring the fact that the Western world is suffering through significant censorship on our online platforms, too. Twitter and now Meta have both been caught preventing left-of-centre content and amplifying far right content. To say that only Rednote is biased when the entirety of corporate America is in bed with MAGA and the modern reactionary right is…dishonest, to say the leastNo. It is at totally different level. Do Twitter and Meta build a Great-Firewall to block your web traffic to other sites, other countries? Do they use police to send you to jail or mental hospital to silence your voice? If you use "suffering through significant censorship" to describe the situation in the US, what are your fair evaluation on the situation on Rednote and in China? just "biased"?

On Rednote there are lot of discussions to compare the living costs on both sides. But they appear to be that the Americans live in hell and Chinese live in paradise. It is because the heavy censorship at work. Chinese are not allowed to show the negative information there. In reality, so many Chinese are trying to illegally come into US, whereas none of Americans is interested into immigrate to China. Chinese people cannot vote. The actions are their vote.

That’s my thought process, like I was on XHS and loving it and then went back to IG and it’s just so much politics, that’s when I realized that American’s are either slaving away at work or thinking about politics. While the OP of that host welcomed foreigner to visit China and provide the tourist information, I'd like to also point out that foreigners are closely watched by the police. Every foreigners are required to to register at local police station for their everyday residence. If you change a place for the night, you must register with the local police. The hotels do this for you mostly. But the law is there requiring you to do that if the hotel does not. That is a police state after all.
