2025.01.22 15:04 No_Guarantee_5106 BPD ex deactivating - experiences or comments welcome
I’m only recently learning about BPD, and should note that whilst it seems very likely my ex has BPD, if they do, they are either unaware of it, or else not prepared to be open about it.
I’ve long decided that no matter how much I love this person, and despite our obvious chemistry, the suspected BPD (or whatever it is…) isn’t something I’m in a place to cope with.
They feel differently, and we seem to be in a cycle where things abruptly end with this person “deactivating” - usually owing to me having attempted to express my feelings (which is new to me) rather than letting things breed resentment. I’m trying to be more mature and constructive, and any attempts to express hurt or anything else that would suggest they were anything other than perfect seems to instantaneously cause them to deactivate and go from being madly in love with me to silence (and immediately then seeking out someone else, seemingly…)
Recently they messaged me again and I was wholly unconvinced, but they sort of ware me down, and I eventually replied and we’ve talked for a bit. I’ve made it really clear I can’t go through what felt like a sudden disguard/push pull dynamic again. I don’t want to get close to them again when I know that unless I have no feelings or needs of my own, and unless all I do is worship them, they will deactivate again.
Is deactivation almost always present with BPD? Or is it sometimes from other things like trauma or other issues? The hardest part for me is that they deactivate, then only once they are ready, will contact me as if nothing has happened, and I’m expected to pick things up as if I wasn’t just suddenly dropped without explanation. Anyone else with any experiences welcome. I’m feeling I should walk away for good and it’s sad as would be so willing to help this person and want them to feel safe and loved but they seem to deactivate just when I’m starting to feel closer to them.

After months of hesitating, finding out, it's done!
I chose the 512GB OLED model, which seemed to me to be the ideal storage. And considering installing a screen protector, the treated screen of the 1TB model did not interest me.
Quick question for owners:
Do you know which protective shells are compatible with the cover supplied with the OLED 512go model?
I almost ordered the Spigen Ruggee Armor but it doesn't seem compatible with the cover of my model...

2025.01.22 15:04 No-Appointment-1420 I’m 2 weeks sober finally guys.
M(28) In my previous post reference“functional alcoholic”. I was in a dark spot I tried many of the things that some of yall recommended such as substitutes of non alcoholic beverages and na seltzers. Although Shit kinda got out of control even worse for a bit, started doing blow to sober myself up so I didn’t look or act drunk in-front of family and such. So that was a horrible decision ect ect. But looking back I remember what I wrote; I got a lot of kickback on the word functional alcoholic. It’s only now that I’m sober I realize what I lie I was feeding myself. Man were you guys right😂. I just wanted to say thank all of you guys/gals for your advice. To anyone reading this who was hesitant to post about your problems in this thread, please don’t hold back. Its like a weight off your shoulders when you can just admit it all and get response that don’t necessarily judge you but can give you a kick in the ass in the right direction. I know it’s not much coming from a guy who hasn’t drank in 14 days or used any drugs, but I didn’t think I could do it; but if I managed you can definitely manage too! - thanks again

I can't figure out what controller settings to use.
On this game my aiming is well lacking to say the least. On halo 4 and previous titles I was ranked incredibly high especially on ffa. And on infinite im not able to make shots like i used to
Something feels off about my controls and it frustrates the hell outra me
I typically played on a look sensitivity of 7-9 range (so I can turn faster at close range) and never had any problems with long range shots either.
Is there something different about this games aiming?
They have 3 settings now xy sensitivity and look acceleration. In order for me to turn fast enough at close range makes my long range feel twitchy?
When I used to snipe headshots from across the map all day on sensitivity 9
My tactics and maneuvering are outta control I can't count how many times a match I pull off some ridiculous reversal just to die anyway because I can't hit them afterwards.
Anyone else experience this? Or have some recommendations for settings to try? Or is this game just inherently different and I'm missing something else?
