Title. I am going to have an interview soon and I want to keep my other job, its great for me because during the weekend,s I work 6am to 8pm Sat-Sun and Fridays(Sometimes) which is good money for me. I know, considering they will pay me more with this state job, it may be different but I dont wanna jump into this new state job blind.
So like, my question is, while I am being interviewed, do they need to know I have a 2nd job? or would they already know since they've seen my application?. If I do get the job, would they know beforehand that my weekends are already filled with a double shift at my other job, if so, would that ruin my chances?

2025.01.22 18:22 Global_Question3958 Been applying to jobs for a whole week. I either get a rejection a few minutes later or no response. Is this common?
I got fired exactly a week ago and been applying to jobs outside of the industry i was working on because i want to separate from it but most jobs ive applied to either get an instant rejection or just wont answer. For some of them im definitely qualified for the job. I've only had 3 jobs in my adult life (currently 26). One was retail and the other 2 were in shops. I worked in each one 3 years or so. Would I be able to get another job outside of what i do?

Before I continue I would like to say. I am a white heterosexual male in an interracial relationship. I AM NOT POLITICALLY ALIGNED. I do not care about politics and leave them out of my life for this reason alone. Yesterday morning I was sitting in bed with my significant other when she made a joke about people planning a revolution to overthrow the American government on TikTok. I told her that would be awesome but now’s just not the time with the state of a world in a constant panic. It wasn’t meant to be serious. But we laughed and she said “bring back assassinations!” In return. I reminded her of what happened to arch duke Ferdinand in Serbia to start WW1. This was meant to be more light hearted and funny so I didn’t think it’d have any recourse. She then got a weird face and responded with “well as a heterosexual white male you haven’t your rights taken from you. Then maybe you’d understand.” Taken aback I asked what me being white has to do with this because again making a race problem out of a joke was surprising to me because we’re in an interracial relationship. I asked what rights are being taken from the American people as we speak? Because at this point I am caught off guard. I was already aware of the mass deportations, H-1B visas, the comments on trans people, roe v wade ect. I have educated myself very well and didn’t think I was out of the loop. She responded calling me an ignorant bigot after I explained that and told me I hadn’t done enough of my own research. After finding multiple sources she refused to show one stating “she doesn’t have to do the work for me” and that because I didn’t vote I was more ignorant than ever before. She wanted to kick me out of the house and never see me again because of it. Hours later she was fine and trying to talk but refuses to apologize. AITAH for wanting to leave this?

I continued to get back together with her and it would just be worse every time. There was no peace. I've been eating a ribeye and eggs fried in butter for months now for breakfast. I eat at about 7am and by 10am, I am hungry again. My lunch and dinner are also steak. I feel full at lunch and dinner, but not for breakfast. And if I add more food, I feel complete full and feel the need to vomit.
My ribeyes range from 1lbs - 1.1lbs and I am never full for hours. I am full for like one hour, but never the 6 hours people say they feel
