2025.01.22 18:17 Witty_Umpire_8124 Cat has blood in stool… roads aren’t safe to drive
Checked cat’s litter box this morning and there was some bright blood with the stool. Normally I would go to emergency vet, but the roads aren’t safe to drive right now and advised to stay home. He seems fine & not lethargic in the slightest.
He’s had some GI issues for a bit now. He stayed at a cat boarding facility & held his poop while there and ended up needing to get enemas to get cleared out and then he was on stool softeners for a bit until he was regular again. The vet wasn’t too worried.
We ended up having to take him again a week later when he was throwing up and not eating & he was given fluids and anti-nausea meds.
That was a couple months back and he’s been doing fine since with regular stools. We started giving him wet food once a day (and dry food rest of day) and sometimes have given him some pumpkin puree & probiotics.
Planning on giving him the pumpkin & probiotic for his meal later to see if it helps settle his stomach. His yearly vet checkup is coming up so we are going to talk to them about his stomach issues since I am worried.
Is it okay to wait it out right now? We can’t really go anywhere right now anyways. What can we look for when we do get him to the vet? They’ve done x-rays and he’s been fine since the enemas, but I don’t think they’ve done any blood tests.
He eats purina one chicken selects for dry food & purina one grain free premium pate for soft food.

Okay so I think I have Alexithymia and I have a question that very very few people can probably answer so I thought I'd try my luck here.
I was prescribed ADHD meds and I've been taking them for a while with increasing doses and haven't felt any effects. The problem is that when something changes with me I tend to just think that it's always been that way and forget what it was like before. I don't know if the meds aren't working on me or if they are and I just can't tell the difference because I never know how I feel. I really don't want to tell my doctor that the meds just don't work on me and give them up only to find out that they were working and I end up worse.
So if there are any people here with trouble understanding how they feel, ADHD, and that is taking ADHD meds. (Which I assume is a very small amount of people) Did you have trouble feeling the effects of your meds? Did you stop taking them and feel any different? I just need some help and very few people understand the level of difficulty I have understanding my own feelings.

2025.01.22 18:17 Bla4s High ISO noise reduction advice
I’ve been taking some indoor night shots with my new R8 in low light.
ISO went up to 25,600! I’ve never shot that high ISO before.
The photos are passable and definitely better than my 2018 APSC camera.
But the noise reduction looks pretty aggressive. Worse than my old iPhone from 2020 (obvs at much lower ISO!).
These are jpgs.
Is that normal?
Am I better shooting raw and treating noise in post?
As a casual, non-pro shooter of family snaps, I generally prefer to avoid post and just shoot jpg.
And I’m generally happier turning NR off and having more noise rather than noise reduction artefacts.
Thanks for any advice.

2025.01.22 18:17 Teakmahogany Is it just me or is this DLC as barebones as it can get?
Like, DLC's used to add meaningful content, this is whack.
There's 11 new characters, with a lot being almost indistinguishable from other characters, I felt we could have had Super Piccolo, Orange Piccolo + Giant & Beast Gohan and it would have been fine as well.
I dunno...my expectations for DLC are for them to add new content as well. What about some team battles where we can play online with friends and swap characters? Or some new modes for online, I know Xenoverse had a 3V3 Mode.
There's no accessories, no stages, its just 11 characters.....I'm pretty disappointed with it all.
