Ive had the same dream for 10 years in my life and it’s been the only thing ive ever wanted to do. I’ve spent the last decade working on getting to a level where I can achieve it this year if I put my time and effort in it like never before. But sometimes I wonder if the reason why I already haven’t made it to the point where I wanted in 10 years was my fault or if God doesn’t think that it’s right for me. I’m worried that if I try and fail I would’ve wasted another year just for me to have a different purpose. Do I still try?

2025.01.22 14:54 brew_sage My GMAT journey from 495 to 675.
Hey All!! Not a very glorious story but i felt like sharing. I started preparing for GMAT in September, and wasnt too serious about it. But nonetheless, gave an attempt on November 23rd. Got a very poor score of 495. But i realised i can crack it, having a good quants foundation. Prepared for a month, gave a few mocks,and attempted again on 24th of December. I had been consistently getting 645+ in mocks, but on the test day, i screwed up. I got 3 consecutive RC passages, 3 boldface questions that i was bad at. Did miserably in Data Insights and ended up with 545.
I was devastated. I was expecting more, college deadlines were around, and i didnt know what to do. Finally decided to give one last try. Didnt prepare much, but I was calmer this time. Was having lower scores on mock. On the test day(today), i chilled, went to the gym, watched Big bang theory, and listened to Linkin Park on my way to the center.
There were a few moments, where i felt im screwing the test, but i was like fuck it!! I dont care. cant be worse than last time. Ended up with a 675. I know it isnt a lot, with people getting 705+ but it is lot more than I expected. Im done with GMAT, and i dont want to see this exam again.
My only message to everyone else here is that trust your preparation, and stay confident. All the best to everyone!

Hey all, I’m looking into setting up a 5 gallon tank and really want to get a pea puffer. I know they can be really territorial so I was planning on limiting it to just the puffer, but I’ve seen some videos and articles online about people having success with multiple in a tank. I’ve also heard of some folks having success keeping them with a shrimp population where the puffers tend to only prey on the young shrimp and moderate the population.
Does anyone have some experiences with this that they could share?

Can anyone share any info regarding when/how each candle is unlocked? I have cleared the Barracks on my ranger and have all four but was just curious if anyone was keeping track of when each candle was unlocked.
I'm also aware that lighting each candle makes the shade fight harder, 1 being easiest and 4 candles lit being the hardest, presumably, but is there a difference in how far you skip after the fight? Change in how many trinkets you get after the fight?
Any insight or experience would be helpful. This game is super fun and its great that we are here pooling our data!

I still do, it’s just that now I can’t catch that gorgeous gaze, smiling shyly, which would freeze me in time as I sat stunned at your beauty.
I drove home that night, numb and lost, needing to stare at the light a little closer to find my way home. I could squint and stare and barely find the traffic lights or the buzzing neon lights giving me a milestone on my journey. Nothing shone bright for me anymore. I could place my reticent retina directly into the brightest light and still not see light the way you gave to me. But in the sky? I found you instantly, making me remember every memory which lights up a past life I look back on.
I don’t know how you defy gravity, going so far into space and time that it gets harder and harder for me to locate you. One moment you’re slipping past Orion and the next, tussling Leo’s mane as you sneak away again. I keep looking for you amongst the other stars who try to hide your elegant shine. Was doing a mission in Atlantic City and went through a door that I was not supposed to but I had picked up the key, the casino guards are all now shooting the hell out if me and I can’t progress the quest since “Stan” is not sitting at the poker table anymore. I left the area went back to the main map reloaded my game, but whenever I return everyone just starts shooting me.
How do I stop them from being aggressive towards me so I can continue the quest line.
