Felt they were a waste of time, fees, and a hassle to keep track of all payments, etc One of my friend introduced me to Amex plat travel after he basicaly had a free vacation, I got curious and started my Journey. Amex Platinum Travel - Got it solely for the purpose of converting my points to Marriot bonvoy points as I have plans of vacationing with my girlfriend(Soon to be wife in 2026). My annual spends are around 5-6L so this will be my primary card. Amex corporate Green - Just got it as a mandate from my company. Have 0 use case for this unless it's a work related expense SBI Cashback - Got an offer for FYF since I used to hold a salary account with SBI. Thout I'd do all my online spends after the 4L milestone on the plat travel, but SBI has given me a 20k CL :/ Au lxigo - I have an upcoming friends trip to Amsterdam, so got this card solely for that purpose since it's LTF, will be useful for future international trips as well. (Faced the usual AU horrors to get this card. Got rejected, escalated to RNO, PNO then finally ombudsman and then got it approved) Will be getting a HDFC Millenia LTF soon too as I just shifted my Salary account to HDFC, and want to build my relationship with them to get the DCB maybe next year and Infinia soon(when I hit the salary requirement). Will mostly do all my online spends on this as SBI cashback has a limit of only 20k. My Cibil is not that great due to my foolishness, a while back I got around 11 hard enquires done which plummeted my cibil to 745 Still got all these cards quite easily(except AU lxigo). I was reading a post about this topic in subreddit I'm a part of that has nothing to do with politics. Many people reported suddenly noticing they and many of their friends, including Canadians and other nationalities, were following IG pages of Trump and Vance. In some cases, this appeared to have begun weeks ago. According to most sources (and the most reliable sources I can find are Snopes/Yahoo and AP News), this is simply because these people were previously following the last US president and vice president accounts, and there was a transfer of "ownership". However, I have found many claims in comments on Reddit and in some articles about this that this is not the case - they claim they weren't following the Biden and Harris accounts to begin with, or they still are but now are following Trump and Vance's personal accounts as well. I'm curious if this is a big "nothing burger", or if this is a real sneaky stunt by Meta that is not being properly reported and investigated.

So context: I was roommates and close friends with A (20F) in the same course. Then later I shifted out and thatâs where the problems started. We had more different schedules, different waking times (my fault genuinely on my alarms), and just started drifting apart. But we started to butt heads due to my alarm and our different responsibilities. As it was unraveling, she was just genuinely being so distant and short with me, which at the time, I didnât know why. However, she started being a worse roommate. She left me with her dirty dishes, barely cleaned / offered to clean (it was me most of the time), then left her leftovers for weeks in the fridge. This was all when I knew before why she was mad at me. It all came to a head when she just left for her new place before informing me. I was already so mad at her, knowing she left me in an apartment that was infested and had a broken light (which she was in charge to request for a service for btw). I just broke down, stating that I didnât care that she was in her new place but essentially having a shared responsibility to have a clean space when she used my reusable bag for trash. She then cut all communications with me, which then I only knew after why she had an attitude with me. I offered to talk (especially just for the sake of our shared rental) but she said no and then we left our separate ways.
I had my own faults as I misunderstood our timeline (we were both on trips before the breakdown, but she left earlier than me.) She came back to the apartment just to get some of her stuff. But before leaving for my own trip, I literally mostly cleaned the apartment except throwing a bag of trash cause I already threw out two separate ones.
Now the dilemma is that we have these mutual friends in that same course, I (21F) and E (21F). Ever since me and A stopped being friends, she became closer to them. Itâs their choice but it irked me because of the fact that itâs mutual friends. Sheâs telling all that stuff without my side of the story, knowing well she probably did me more dirty than I did her, especially after we cut communications. Theyre just âneutralâ about the whole thing, but it just feels wrong because theyre such close friends. Everytime weâre in a shared space (all of us), they would be closer to A. It doesnât feel impartial at all because of the fact that theyre besties with her. Theyre still friendly with me, but I know they wonât really notice me much when theyre with her. Personally, I feel if theyre neutral about it, they wouldnât really treat me like that if we were all in the same room. These had just been my personal observations, but these instances happen often when were all in the same space.
I really dont know if i should stay friends with them because Im genuinely upset about it. I dont think A is a good person (not just because shes a bad roommate), but because she wasnât mature about our conflict and rather hide her resentment from me instead of talking properly about it. When she started becoming nice to me again after she moved out, it irked me so much.
I really dont know how to feel about it all: if im just making a big deal about it or not. I dont see them frequently, which helps, but they do reach out occasionally and I really dont know how to deal with these feelings. Hence why I posted here. Please let me know how to proceed forward, if i should stay friends with them or not.
