Ladies, how are we responding to doctor’s intake questions, specifically regarding menstration, now that the far-right are in control? As a woman who is left leaning and advocates for bodily autonomy I am concerned with the government overreaching and requiring doctors to give out personal information… am I just living in fear from my reading of project 2025? Every time I have been asked when my last period is I hesitate and try to not answer, especially when the physicians asking are not my OBGYN. The nurses doing the initial intake have always been women and seem confused by my hesitation. Today when I tried to leave it at “my cycle is regular and I’m not pregnant” she persisted so I made up a date. But I’m curious what other women are doing and experiencing?

I only know that after clearing the exam, people often get posted in remote areas. I currently live in Mumbai and am a bit used to city life. So, is it possible to get a job in a city?

Hi y'all. Wanted to get everyone's opinion on something I saw on Facebook from International Ride Training (ride operations 3rd party consulting company). They posted that SFMM is now iROC certified. I know as a previous ride op at CP (albeit briefly), the legacy CF parks are iROC certified. So I am thinking that due to the merger they are going to get the legacy SF parks certified. I have heard this can reduce operations efficiency. Thoughts (especially from former ride ops)???

Nearly EVERY time I order from DoorDash my drivers have told me that the GPS sends them across the street to my neighbor’s house. I double, triple, quadruple checked that I put in the right address/numbers for my house. So what the heck is up? Can I contact customer support?
I’ve also provided drop off details explaining that if you turn on my street from x-street that my house is on left, not the right. But drivers don’t always read the note I notice.

2025.01.22 15:53 One-Window-9619 Wondering what to do about new stairs not perfectly matching new floors, your thoughts?
 | Here's the situation, we're having new floors and new stairs installed. We chose to go with two different companies and have both the flooring and the staircase be maple, no dye, all natural. We got a couple of floor samples that we gave the stair people to make sure everything would be the same tone -- the two small pieces from the pictures below -- we gave them clear directions not to use any dye. They said matching the color would be no problem since it's all natural. Now the problem is that we just had the stairs installed and noticed they decided to add something to the varnish in the end to make the stairs look much lighter. As you can see in the pictures, the stairs are noticeably lighter and more pink than the floor samples, which are literally yellow/orange. (You can see I also got a bigger sample piece from the flooring store to help with the comparison) We didn't expect to see such a contrast when put side-by-side, and we're not sure what to do now. We heard that maple will get darker with time, is that why the floor samples are more yellow, assuming they're maybe older? Will the pinkness of the floor maple eventually fade to a more yellow glow? I also don't know if we're overreacting, I hear color matching wood tones can be hard, so should we just let it go? The stair guys said they had to do it or else the staircase would have been too yellow, but now we have the opposite problem. If we decide to do something about it, what are our options? That the stair guys sand and re-varnish the steps? At whose cost?
