 | For a while I had really wanted to befriend the crows in my area, can’t exactly tell you why. I learned they like unsalted unshelled peanuts, so I started putting out a bowl on top of our children’s library. It started off with a couple crows coming by but quickly the word spread. Now we have 15 or so come by after I fill the bowl. I even bring some on my dog walks and they will kind of follow me around. It really sparks joy in my soul to see them recognized friend, especially in these dark times. Redmi Note 11 global, Android 13, latest firmware updates...
For some reason the last couple months, when I click on Gallery to view images, whether from camera, download, or screenshots, it can take up to 10 seconds for either the thumbnail preview or full-size image to display. I thought it was the SD card going bad, so I bought a brand new SanDisk Ultra and that did not resolve. It also does not matter whether the image is stored on the SD card or internal memory.
It never used to run this slow. I routinely run cleaner and I've tried clear cache, but that does nothing. Does anyone have suggestions of why it is running so slow? My SD is only at 20% usage and my internal storages at 60% usage.
I really don't want to do a factory restore due to all the apps I'd have to reinstall and customize.
Does anyone have an idea why my Gallery is running so slowly now, or any solution to fix it? Thank you,

Hi neighbors! I have a spayed 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier (essentially a small pitbull) that I am hoping to find daycare with a dog-savvy person. She is incredibly sweet and loves people, but suffers from severe separation anxiety when we're gone. All she wants to do is cuddle up and be near a human, attempting to be a 60lb lapdog whenever we sit down. She is too anxious/reactive to be in commercial doggy daycare facilities with other dogs -- we've tried several, but she never has a good time and is overwhelmed by all the other dogs coming/going :(
She does well with other non-reactive dogs in smaller settings and gets along great with dogs she's familiacomfortable with. She also lives with 2 cats and is very gentle with them. She LOVES kids, but we'd prefer a home without them as she gets overly excited and can barrel them down by mistake when she inevitably gets the zoomies.
We would love a recommendation for someone that would watch her during the day while we're at work, preferably in Providence or surrounding areas. We can connect on Rover if that's easier, but are happy to arrange something outside of an app. Perhaps someone that is retired or works from home? Thanks in advance!
