I pulled the trigger on a diesel heater recently for ice camping and thought i would share our experience for those considering, especially fuel and battery needs.
I decided to try this out after our initial camp test with just a single big buddy heater. We had condensation issues and was a bit chillier than i wanted with outside temps in the single digits. The setup: Eskimo 650xd, 1/2” foam mats covering most of the floor, Vevor 8kw unit with two 100 Ah lithium batteries, and a big buddy heater.
We spent the last Friday through Sunday on the Ice in northern MN, and with the polar vortex it was a perfect time to test everything out. Friday night was 10F with a decent breeze Saturday morning was -8F with 12mph NW wind Saturday high was -2F and 14 mph NW wind Sunday morning was -24 with 8mph WNW wind
We ran the Vevor the whole time on the 7-9 settings. Used about 2.5 gals of 80/20 diesel/kerosene and 103 Ah from the two batteries. That works out to about 0.1 gal and 3 A per hr.
The buddy heater was on low for most of the time except at Saturday middle of the night we bumped it to medium. Overall it was very cozy, we could have ran the buddy on low the whole time. We had no issues with condensation.

2025.01.22 18:04 Jzgamez3 Samsung TV Back Cover Removal (Screwed On)
I have a Samsung TV that uses 16 screws around the perimeter of the tv to hold the back cover on. I have been told that some manufactures will also use an adhesive with the screws. Would this most likely be the case with my tv and, if so:
1) Is the adhesive typically around the perimeter of the cover or do they also have adhesive connecting it to a PCB board or shield?
2) Is there an easy method to removing a back cover with adhesive without damaging the unit?
I have a specialized Samsung curved OLED from 2014 and Samsung did not create service instructions as only about 100 units were produced. Any help would be appreciated. An image on a few sections of the back cover can be seen below for better understanding.

I fucked up like an idiot I was on grindr and thought I met a nice lil lady so we started chatting she added me on telegram which should of been my first red flag and 1 thing led to another and I'm on video call with myself exposed and face showing then the cam changes to bandi cam and shows footage of me with screenshots of my face book and insta friends list saying there going to share my photos around to my familly I tried reasoning with them for about an hour like a dick head and after an hour I just gave up and blocked them bc I figured they knew they weren't going to be getting any money from me so surley why would they post it I'm still really sketched out he tried adding me on another telegram account but I blocked it straight away I've deleted telegram and I'm trying to fix up my socials now but im fucking petrified I really could use some reassurance from anyone who's had a similar situation

I have four ILNP polishes already (Ava, Eclipse, Jinx, Salem) and I am looking to add maybe six more to my collection. Y'all are great with product recommendations so I figured I'd ask here - what polishes from ILNP do you love, and what polishes would you never purchase again if your life depended on it?
If it helps, I particularly love iridescent flakies/chunky glitters/anything holographic and I hate pure jellies/whites. I also generally dislike polishes that still show VNL after three coats but I'm willing to make a few exceptions if the polish truly is stunning.

Hello, good day. I recently bought a new motherboard, the H610M-K DDR4, along with an i5 12400F, and a Kingston 16GB 3200MHz RAM. From my previous PC, I already had an RTX 3060 Ti and two RAM sticks: one Crucial Ballistix 8GB 2666MHz and one HyperX Fury 8GB 2666MHz, which both worked perfectly in my old system. However, when assembling the new PC, I didn’t think it through and installed the 16GB 3200MHz RAM alongside one of the 8GB sticks. The PC wouldn’t boot. Here’s what happened: the fans and lights turned on for 5 seconds, then everything turned off without any display on the monitor or power to the peripherals. This process would repeat in a loop—fans and lights turning on for 5 seconds, then shutting off. I'll refer to this as “THE ERROR.” At first, I wasn’t too concerned and assumed the components were incompatible. I started testing with different RAM configurations and began to suspect that the second RAM slot wasn’t functioning properly or was causing issues, which led me to wonder if the motherboard had a defect. If I placed a single RAM stick in the first slot, the PC worked fine, but the same RAM in the second slot triggered THE ERROR. Even using both of my old RAM sticks (which had always worked together) caused THE ERROR. Yet, each worked fine when placed separately in the first slot. Eventually, I managed to get the second slot to work using both of my old 2666MHz sticks. The PC booted successfully, and the BIOS showed both RAM sticks being detected. But in subsequent tests, THE ERROR reoccurred, making me think it might be more of a compatibility issue or something related to the BIOS rather than a hardware defect. For example, in one of the tests: initially, the PC would boot with the 16GB 3200MHz RAM in the first slot, but it was running at 2400MHz. Now, the PC only boots with the HyperX 8GB 2666MHz RAM stick, regardless of the slot. If I try using the 16GB 3200MHz RAM or the Crucial Ballistix 8GB 2666MHz RAM, THE ERROR occurs. I also tried placing both 8GB sticks together again, but it still didn’t work and triggered THE ERROR. After performing a CMOS reset, I tested again with the 16GB RAM: when I placed it in the first slot, the PC booted fine. I moved it to the second slot, and THE ERROR occurred. When I moved it back to the first slot, the PC wouldn’t start. After another CMOS reset, I placed the 16GB RAM in the second slot, and THE ERROR occurred. I then tested the two 8GB sticks together again, but the same issue persisted. Finally, I tried just the HyperX Fury 8GB RAM, and it worked. I noticed that in most cases, the HyperX Fury RAM works if installed in the first slot. I talked to a friend, and he mentioned it’s not uncommon for RAM to cause issues when installed only in the second slot, but I found it odd because my previous motherboard never had such issues. My friend suggested updating the BIOS. When I first tried to update it, I downloaded the latest version from the official website and loaded it onto a USB drive. Initially, I used the version for the v1.0 motherboard, but the update failed. Then I tried the version for v2.0, and the update succeeded. After updating the BIOS, I tested the 16GB RAM in the first slot again, but THE ERROR occurred. I installed the HyperX Fury RAM, and the PC booted successfully. At this point, I decided to stop troubleshooting. In conclusion, I suspect the motherboard doesn’t have a manufacturing defect but does have significant RAM compatibility issues. I even saw a Reddit comment mentioning that this motherboard is known to have problems with RAM. I’d like to know what I can do and if anyone has had a similar experience. I am setting up a head spa and looking to install in-ceiling speakers throughout the facility for a multi-zone audio system. Each room, including treatment rooms and common areas, should have independent control over the audio. The idea is to enhance the relaxing atmosphere with appropriate soundscapes. I've attached a floor plan to give a better idea of the space.
I need advice on:
- Speaker Placement: Optimal locations for even and soothing sound distribution.
- Type of Speakers: Any recommendations for in-ceiling speakers that work well in a spa setting?
- Wiring & Connectivity: Does each Speaker need to be directly connected to the amp?
- Control Systems: I'm considering Sonos for its ease of use and integration capabilities. Has anyone used Sonos for a similar setup? Are there other systems I should look at?

As the title says.. now that it's been a month since my surgery, tomorrow is activation day, and I could not be more ecstatic! This month has felt like the longest month ever, counting down the days.. and also seemed to fly by in a blink of an eye.
Now, I know everyone is different, but if you've been activated already, are there any suggestions you can give me? Or is there anything you wish you did activation day?
