Hi, I currently hold a few thousand dollars in USD from an options trade on WealthSimple, and I’d like to avoid paying the 1.5% conversion fee if I can. What’s the best way to move USD out of WealthSimple, and where can I get the best rates to convert to CAD?
The best option I’ve found so far is linking an EQ Bank USD account, moving the money there, then sending it to IBKR to convert to CAD. Since I won’t need this money for at least two months, I plan to invest in cash in IBKR for that time before transferring it. However, I want to ask about people’s experiences moving USD from WealthSimple to EQ Bank. How long does the transfer take? Also, I noticed a 60-day deposit hold on IBKR, which concerns me. Does this hold still apply if I transfer the converted funds to a CAD account at EQ Bank? I’m looking for people with similar experiences to confirm. Thank you in advance for any help.
Additionally, I’m not a fan of the IBKR interface, but Moomoo looks promising from what I read. I saw Canadian in a t-shirt mention it, but since it was sponsored content, I dont want to trust it wholeheartedly. Don't care that they are owned by a chinese corporation, but I appreciate any other feedback from people on the platform.
TL;DR: Looking for suggestions on the best way to move a few thousand USD out of WealthSimple and convert it to CAD at the best possible rates. Also, what does everyone think of Moomoo?

Hi everyone!
I just recently came to North Carolina to start my career after college. My boyfriend and I live a little ways away and are about to look into apartments, things-to-do, neighborhoods, food spots, homes and other general things over the coming months, and I wanted to ask for some general advice or opinions any of you may have regarding the city! Positive or negative, recommendations or warnings, etc all welcome!
I'm as green as it gets when it comes to Raleigh ( I vaguely understand the triangle and what that means ) so if there's some sort of master list "Guide" of things to do that any of you happen to have in your cupboards, please send them my way lol
I'm working in the downtown area too, so if anyone has nice lunch place recommendations I can check out, id really appreciate that as well!

Hello all, So, of course the dots didn’t connect in my brain that my cumulative GPA I graduated with won’t actually be my CAS GPA. I transferred after my freshman year because I hated the university I was at. I had a 2.22 that year. I then started fresh at a different university where my GPA didn’t carry over. I have been thinking this whole time that my GPA would be what I received from my 3 years at the other university, but it will be significantly lower.
I’m not asking for advice, I’m just venting because I’m absolutely screwed. I had a 3.33 cumulative from my other university. I’ll probably just end up with an irreconcilable GPA…

 | Hello. I have a pretty much mint condition Skywatcher Evostar 80ed and EQ5 Pro Synscan mount to sell. With spare eyepiece camera T adaptors, manuals, cases and more. I can't stress how good the condition of this stuff is, mostly because I have kept it all plastic wrapped, in the cases with silica pouches and all caps and protectors. It's depressing how little it's been used and I want to change that. I am not in a situation to use it so want to sell it to someone who can. But what's it worth? Should I sell the scope, mount and Synscan together or separately? Is it safe to courier or is collection only advised? So I've been doing OMAD after several fasts and 1 day of reseeding. Now I'm trying to get some nutrition back into my body and I was wondering if chicken/lamb over rice would be a good meal for the day? I was thinking about also adding in a protein shake with supergreens to help with my protein goals and vitamin intake.

This event was a crazy ass lore dump that is way too much to go over. But one of them I noticed is that we (The Commander) is the 7th experiment in whatever the MMR did. Ether said that there was 6 experiments, some failed, some escaped.
Basically I think Chatterbox might be one of those escaped experiments, especially with them saying “Found Them” in our first meeting (has a whole new meaning) and him even knowing we were sick as a kid.
As for the Girl in our visions, I feel like she’s also involved in this, since in those brief vision we were close.
Only NIKKE can do a seemingly lowkey event and make it be on of the most lore deep ones. (Also shout out to Mana protecting us. Researcher Wife)

I want to preface this post by stating that I have tried reaching out to epic support on multiple occasions. I’m essentially looking for others who have had the same issue for their advice with the same issue. I play on playstation if that matters. Recently, I was in the middle of a game when I was suddenly logged out and given the message “Logged in elsewhere or session has expired” or something along the lines of that. I have multiple clips and screenshots of my Epic ID, transactions, receipts, pretty much everything you’d EXPECT to suffice as proof for an account recovery. My account is genuinely worth hundreds of dollars of I have hundreds of hours played across multiple seasons starting for C1S1. What does this mean? Has someone unlinked my account and linked it to their account somehow? Has my account just been deleted for some reason? I would really genuinely appreciate any help regarding this; it has been extremely frustrating trying to communicate with Epic Support.
