2025.01.22 20:51 Splatterpants90 Issue with Ebay seller
Hey Everyone, I'm pretty new to buying off Ebay with less than 10 purchases now, and this is the first issue I have experienced. I just wanted to see what you guys think about what is going on. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable?
On December 17th I won a bid on an item I've had my eye on for a while. I was the only bidder, and got it for the starting price. The price I paid was very good for what it is and I ended up paying roughly $45 CAD in shipping as well. The items location is in the USA and I live in Canada. At the time that I won the bid, it was a few days after the Canada post strike had ended and regular business had resumed.
The seller reached out to me to let me know that he was unable to get a waybill through ebay because of an issue with Canada post and that he would be sending the package with UPS instead. He said that he would get me the tracking info right away.
The next two weeks were full of back and forth messages between he and I where he would dart around the issue of providing me tracking with multiple different excuses as to why he couldnt get it to me. Ultimately he told me that he lost the tracking number and was embarrassed but assured me that it is on its way with a delivery date between Jan 7th and 20th. He said to look at his positive feedback which admittedly is good but all of the items sold are very low value in the $2-$6 dollar range whereas this Item ended up costing about $120 CAD all together.
Well the 20th came and went with no sign of my item and now I have been trying to reach out to him for the last few days and my messages have been ignored. When i go on the the purchase listing now, it says shipped untracked with USPS and that it is expected between Feb 6th and Feb 20th.
I have contacted UPS a few different times and each time they say they have nothing in their system on route to my address.
In your opinion, what would be my best course of action? Just wait it out until February 20th and file for a refund?

2025.01.22 20:51 ReptarCerealBox New Crosswalk Law— Can I park in my own Driveway or Wash my car any more?? No parking.
My garage driveway is a few feet away from a cross walk. I often wash my car in the street or park along in my own driveway.
There is a Muni stop also right after the crosswalk. Long Muni buses often drop off or block my driveway— a whole other thing I don’t know about if that is legal.
I can’t wash my car anywhere else— spraying water in the garage is crazy. I’m not doing that. I’ve got video of violence, homeless and juvenile hard drug use at the bus stop/my stoop. I’ve called police multiple times.
There is already no parking. My neighbors are already dropping random safety cones to save their “spaces”. I still have my driveway. Parking issues is just adding salt to my anger about living in the city.
Lived here my whole life but I’m getting at my wits end with SF apathy….

I (26 F) posted in here a bit ago and am back with more results. Heres a bit about my history:
2020: ASCUS pap,hpv positive (wasnt informed of my results, at 21 i thought no news was good news, hence the break in testing) 2022: normal pap 2023: ASC-H pap, did not test for hpv 2023: colpo with two biopsies and ECC all normal 2024:ASC-H, negative for hpv January 2025: colpo with four biopsies and ECC, all came back normal.
A week later i received an amended lab report. My doctor had asked pathology to review my pap smear. They confirmed cells indicative of high grade lesions. She then asked them to review my biopsies again. They found cells that may be representative of high grade lesions, but too scant for further characterization. Yesterday i went i to repeat the pap smear and ECC and am now waiting those results. My doctor explained that if my pap comes back as HSIL, or my ECC comes back as cin2 or 3, she will do a LEEP. She said itd be a “deep leep”, do yall think that means LEEP with top hat? Is having endocervical changes more concerning than on the face of the cervix? Id love to hear from other folks with ECC abnormalities. I hate waiting for results. Ok xoxo youre all so tough, wishing healing vibes to everyone in this sub
