(I hate writing about myself so be patient. Apologies for being all over the place in my post)
• Music: I will chat your ear off about music. A good majority of my day is spent with music playing. HIM, Clutch, Fireball Ministry, Bloodhound Gang, Counterparts, Polaris, The Devil Wears Prada and a billion more. Far too many to list, actually. I also play music in my free time and enjoy writing with my friends. (Bonus points if you enjoy going to shows!) Video Games: PC is where I play a good majority of my games. Countless hours talking trash with my friends on CS2, late nights of Lethal Company, Destiny 2 raids. I rarely play solo games but occasionally I will. (If you're into playing multiplayer games like these then I'll love you forever lmao) I enjoy outdoor activities as well. Skateboarding, disc golf, hiking, hammocking and various other activities. Its wintertime at the moment so the only time I really leave the house is for work. When summertime comes around, it shall be full of outdoor nonsense! Just trying to find someone with a similar style as myself. Horror movie nerd, tattoo enthusiast, coffee enjoyer, beer connoisseur. lol. As much as I enjoy getting out and spending time with my friends, I also enjoy my time spent at home. Wonderful nights in are just as fun as a night out on the town. An insurance agent from our bank has offered one of my family members a life insurance policy that costs $30,000 yearly. The family member is around 75 years old, and the insurance payout is $650,000 when the family member passes away due to natural causes.
This seems like a giant scam because it is expensive as hell, and only covers death caused by natural causes, and not deaths due to accidents or injury. However, the family member is considering it because the agent told the family member a bunch of BS about tax benefits and estate planning by getting the insurance.
Does this policy actually have merit and how do I convince the family member to not take it if it is a bad deal?

i don't want my brain to think the things it does. i wish i could just shut everything down and restart. i was SA'd as a child and i can't stop thinking about it to this day. i imagine myself as a child, reliving the molestation, and it does something for me. i'd never wish what happened to me, on my worst enemy, so why does the remembering and creating new thoughts of it happening to my child self feel good??? the amount of scenarios i play out in my head throughout my day could fill a book, and it gets to the point where i can't focus on tasks i need to be doing irl. i have cptsd, and have been to many therapists over the years, and nothing has changed. i keep obsessing over wanting to just be a child, so that the way i act and think doesn't feel so shameful. i feel like a child, i like things children like, so it makes day to day things very difficult. it makes finding a relationship difficult because i want to be viewed as a child, which very obviously complicates things, and i'd never force all that on anyone. i'm just so exhausted, mentally. i can't share these thoughts with anyone in my life, currently, so i post here to alleviate some of the mental load.
