Ok hi I love comfort level podcast and I really wanted post on my little dilemma currently so basically as I said in the title my sister hates one of my close friends and for some context on that it's because my sister we'll call her B is currently dating my friends we'll call her K's former situationship We all use to be cool but because of this guy We'll call him D they fell out. my friend dosent talk bad about my sister to me and for the most part dosent really care anymore however as much as i love my sister she gets really mad over other girls when it comes to her relationship, which is fair because her boyfriend d is a bigggg cheater i've caught him cheating sooooo many times for example texting girls who are UNDER AGE to hook up to clarify I'm 16 and my sister is 17 he just turned 20 and i've caught him texting 14-year-old girls that i know multiple times so to get to the actual story my sister texted me the other day calling me weird as fuck so i knew that k my friend had been texting D her boyfriend recently now keep in mind D was supposed to have blocked my friend k. now at first this confused me because I had told her explicitly that this was what had been going on which in response she says to me that I didn't tell her that it was actually k that had been texting D not the other way around this is something I did not know and I was already feeling disrespected at the way she came at me when she first texted me, so I explained that to her she got really mad and started going off on me about how I let my friend kay talk bad about her and how I let her get away with things that she shouldnt be able to get away with I again and told her I didn't know anything about what was going on between K and d and that it was none of my business she got mad at me saying I wasn't defending her and that i was letting k get away with stuff at this point I got mad because it felt more like her attacking me and kay because she was just mad that her man had been cheating with multiple girls she ended up telling me that if I continue to be friends with k that she wouldn't talk to me anymore, which to clarify is something she can do because we are not blood sisters which I probably should've said in the beginning, but it's just now crossing my mind because we're extremely close like sisters and everyone thinks we are I was just upset because I felt the underlying issue was that her man had cheated before and she stayed with him and I told her once again that he was cheating and she didn't wanna believe me and decided to blame it on the other woman which is also my friend so please tell me what you think. I'm sorry if the story didn't make sense it's my first time writing on here so just tell me what you're thinking and tell me if you want an update on the situation!

Hi I'm looking for recommendations for which operating system to use. A bit of background, I have an EQ12 running windows at my mums house that I use as a jellyfin server that is synced to my media with tailscale and syncthing. In the future I would like to add home assistant and some other docker containers. I need to be able to easily manage it remotely and I would love to be able to integrate her stuff with mine on a single dashboard. I only set it up with windows to try it out but I'm finding it hard to keep everything working as it should with updates and power outages. So I'm wondering what people would recommend? Linux with portainer, truenas, unraid or something else entirely?

Hi everyone, I have one extra B&W FP31046 surround sound rear speaker, which I want to use as a solo speaker as a fun project with my kids to transfer to through Bluetooth. Without setting up an actual receiver or amp, might there be a cool little device that I can hook the wires too, and which I can transmit to in order to hook up just the one speaker? 2025.01.22 23:04 Brilliant_Track_1248 At a loss of what to do.
I’m not sure what to do anymore, and outside of my mother there’s not much of anyone to go to.
We lost my dad about 2.5 years ago now, and since then I have been the one helping mom get through things, set up everything in her name, etc. I wanted to help her and do it, but it has been a drain on me.
In the middle of all of this, my sibling is a constant source of drama. Every couple of months or so she calls my mother up all is a spiral, so then my mother gets all wound up and usually I am the one talking her through it so she doesn’t completely de compensate.
My sister even did this the day before my dad died, moving her stuff into my mom’s house because she was going to leave her partner. At another one of these meltdowns I was told that I don’t get it because my life is “perfect”
Sister usually says some really off the wall things so now my mother is afraid to call her, but leaps to answer the phone when she calls, even if it means hanging up on me. Basically I’m stable enough to leave for a few hours… even if I’m in need of a bit of support.
We are now again leaving the partner, mom called me and had to cancel plans we had to go deal with her. I can tell she needs support, but I cannot give it right now. Part of me feels that my sister does this on purpose when the attention is not on her enough. ( mom has been helping me deal with a bathroom flood in my house and getting ready for my first baby in a few weeks)
How can I be a support to my mom, but not cater to my sisters bullshit? She seems to be thinking that she is going to stay with my mom.
There is also part of me that feels that the behavior has more to do with that my mom is excited for baby, and we are not going to have time to cater to lunacy. Is this the petty?
