So I don’t remember the name. But MySpace days around 2006-2008 there was this social project I believe it was. The logo was pink with a white star. And if you got so many votes or whatever you ended up getting like a pink stress ball. Maybe more.
Does anyone remember the name of it or even knows what I’m talking about 😂 I feel like it was super popular with the “whore trains” Jeffree Star probably even promoted it. Maybe even the first YouTubers and such. But i remember it on profiles and the boards. I know companies did stuff for it too.
I even got the ball but I don’t know what happened to it. I asked on another Reddit and said ChatGPT said make a star. But I’m positive that was not the name. Unless it changed.

A whole lot of people seem to vastly underestimate their skills at pretending that they aren't bigots or that they dislike certain people. Especially people with poor social skills in general, they seem to genuinely believe that people can't see through their fake ass personas. Like actual social skills are magic or something lmao. Especially when we're talking about bigotry because minority groups have to develop instincts that the offending group doesn't. Again, the ability to see it is seen as some kind of magic, like they couldn't possibly tell that the offender is full of shit. Trust me, we know. It's super fucking obvious. Unless you're an actual sociopath or something who is truly skilled at deception and social manipulation, the targets can see right through it. The emporer has no clothes. It's easier to just go along with it, but that doesn't mean it goes unnoticed.

I’m working on upgrading a crested gecko tank to a 24x24x48 and really sick of doing background as I’ve recently done a couple new dart frog tanks. I was hoping to just use cork bark panels with a little expanding foam and silicone to minimize the workload but I’m having a hard time finding appropriately sized cork bark or just cork panels for a reasonable price. I’ve been mainly looking on amazon but not having much luck. Any recommendations for cork panels or other semi premade background panels are appreciated. Thank you!

I apologise because I’m sure these posts are regular here. But I’ve just completed my first run of demon souls. I’ve never played a souls game before (other than about an hour of Bloodborne quite a while ago), and didn’t really care to either. I’m not someone who cares for games that I have to work hard with, I like to just unwind on something easy. However, I recently completed a playthrough of Outer Wilds. I know it’s a far different style of game, but the concept of having to learn how to play (instead of being given the answers immediately) changed my outlook on a lot.
So I typed in From Soft on the PS App and saw I could get Demon Souls for free with PS+ Extra. It took me about an hour to get to the first walkway bridge thing in Boletarian Palace, and it was so frustrating. But I kept going, and watching the credits roll now, made it all worth it.
I’m going to try Bloodborne now (since that’s free too), I know it’s a lot harder (and no dodge), but I’m going to try my hardest with it.
Thank you everyone here who was there to answer any questions when I googled various stuff.

I'm trying to simulate hair with accessories (like hair clips, ribbons, etc.) in Houdini, but I'm having trouble getting the accessories to follow the hair realistically. I've tried using Point Deform to attach the accessories to the hair guides, but the results are a bit wonky.
Does anyone have experience with this? Any tips or tricks for getting the accessories to behave properly during the simulation?
Here's what I've done so far:

- Modeled my accessory.
