2025.01.22 20:55 kiku_ye When are parts "formed"?
I've heard/seen this talked about and my therapist asked in particular the other week about one part and when she was formed. But my understanding is kids basically are integrated part and as you get older, barring any trauma or if you get help, you integrate. Now I've felt myself almost split again a few years ago, but thank God didn't.. But yeah this when did they form or forming in relation to particular traumas? I assume it doesn't have to be a particular "event' for each part though?

2025.01.22 20:55 MarchProfessional435 Weight Doc 1-Year Follow-up
I reached my IBW, which was my goal, a couple weeks ago. I lost enough that I weighed exactly that (actually 0.1 lb less) with clothing/shoes on at my one-year follow up with my weight doc. I’ve been looking forward to this appointment for a while; I’m fortunate that it coincides roughly with the beginning of my maintenance. Some notes:
- Apparently I was the clinic’s biggest loser (by percentage of SW) for 2024! A couple of people dropped by to tell me that while I waited in the doc’s office.
- A pharmacist asked questions about side effects and I told her I hadn’t had any since moving from 10 mg to 12.5 mg after a 13-day gap in May. She asked about my diet and I told her that it’s gradually shifted toward more wholesome food. Perhaps the best side effect of this drug is the increased sensitivity to food I have no business eating. That said, I haven’t sworn anything off completely, as I think (at least for me) intentional restriction leads to binging.
- Another pharmacist came in to ask if I’d had my testosterone checked since I lost the weight. His reasoning: “you’re thin”. He said that before he even got a good look at me; all he saw was the weight loss on my chart. I guess he assumed I wanted to pack on tons of muscle. I’m at my IBW and have a relatively healthy muscle tone. I haven’t really tried to pack on extra muscle. They blame low T in guys when you’re “fat”. They blame low T when you’re “thin” (read: not bulky). It took me a while to realize he wasn’t selling something, but I eventually agreed to have it checked. Couldn’t hurt at my age.
- The weight doc was like the sixth (and final) person who came into the office. She pointed out that I’ve lost 14 inches just on my waist in the past year! We talked about maintenance options and concluded that I would most likely be taking a 10 mg maintenance dose for life. I’m good with that. I say most likely because I still have three 15 mg pens left. On her advice, I’m going to try spreading those out over 11-13 days. If I have increased food noise or cravings come back in that second week (or anything that messes with consistency in my diet), then I definitely need a dose every week.

Sorry if this is a dumb question. The manual that came with my galaxy buds 2 pro international version says to use the “galaxy wearables” app. Said app does not exist in my App Store. There is a “galaxy buds” app, but it pictures 2 different types of earbuds, neither of which are the ones I have, and neither connect to my pair. Nothing happens when I try to connect them.

RIP no vaping 08AUG-20JAN. I’m just unbelievably stressed and thought it was ridiculous to starve myself of something I’ve wanted.
So I went to my usual vape shop and they had CLOSED. I took a few hits, got a headache. Should’ve thrown it away at that time. Fire alarm in the middle of the night, sit in my car 30 minutes hitting the vape dizzy and sleepy. Water. 1 the next morning, headache. A few more and I feel normal.
Nooooo. I’m trying to at least limit intake now, but I don’t know where to start stopping now that I started again. Any tips? I might need help this time around.
