Sorry for asking about social norms, but I recently got a blood test done and it left me with some pretty nasty bruising on my arm — my fault, my hands tend to shake and I wasn’t paying enough attention to keep them still. I was just wondering if people would tend to presume that sort of bruising is from injected drugs, etc or not?
Obviously I could just verbally explain if it comes up, but I’m worried people might see it and think that without speaking to me about it. If you saw bruising near a vein on someone’s arm, what would you initially think?
