In a slightly more complicated situation, where there are several kids in the group who have birthdays in the week, we wish happy birthday (singular) to Brenda, Charlie, Deirdre and Ed - even if their birthdays are on separate days. In Canada, a more idiomatic phrase is used: "birthday boy/birthday girl". Your phrase would be fine, but the tense is wrong. Since you're speaking of the past, you wouldn't use "is". You'd say, "Back in college, in our gang, it was always the person who celebrated his/her birthday who treated everyone to a restaurant on his/her birthday Hello, Do you say "on my birthday" or "at my birthday". Apparently you can say both. In which context do you use "on" and "at"? Many thanks. "(birthday boy's name)"! "(birthday boy's name)"! "(birthday boy's name)"! In some cases, just to annoy the "birthday boy" they include this (really annoying) part: Com quem será Com quem será que o (birthday boy)vai casar vai depender, vai depender se a/o (someone you know the celebrator likes) vai querer Well, It's annoying but it's fun. "Birthday" generally is just a month and day. If I specifically want to know when someone was born, I would ask "What is your date of birth." As for "guys" please note that some of our forum members are females offended by that assumption and while you are trying to be "folksy," it's not always appreciated. If someone asks, "When is your birthday?", the standard reply is "My birthday is Jan. 1." On the other hand, if someone asks about your birthday after the birthday is over, it is common to say, "My birthday was on Jan. 1."

2025.01.22 20:49 JasonDawn2000 Why is my hit reg better on my xbox series S then my PC?
Am I going crazy or is this actually a possibility? To fully understand my PC is not the best. I’m rockin a really good CPU but my graphics card is a 1080 so I understand that my gear on my PC is not the best and I usually pull like 80-90 frames when I play and stream. My frames being that low doesn’t ever affect me when i’m playing like I don’t lag or anything but I feel like I shoot through people or have ghost bullets or feel my shots just not there in gunfights. When I moved to xbox series S a couple days ago because I wanted to see what it was like on console and I feel like my bullets are hitting perfectly every single gunfight. Is this a real issue I could be facing or am I so used to playing on PC which I have been since Cold War that moving to xbox is just a new experience for me and it’s all the same. Please let me know bc it’s driving me crazy. Thank you!
Just to add this too i have 1k/1k internet so it’s not an issue with my internet.

From the top of my head it's Saka and sometimes Trossard. Martinelli, Sterling, Jesus and Havertz all seem to just run aimlessly into the defender or not try at all. Is this something we're seriously lacking? Nwaneri clearly has it in his locker but all of that's yet to be properly discovered.

One of our biggest principles of practicing the teachings of Jesus is forgiveness right ? 70x7 . Is there specific cannon law definition of forgiveness.
Example - someone says something extremely hurtful and threatens your job . Then seemingly genuinely apologizes . I forgave but can’t shake the feeling of lack of job security. But they wouldn’t want me to leave but I’d be lying if I wasn’t going to weigh my options .
The human instinct in me says quit because I’m employable and do what’s best for me and my family … which before this interaction was long term work relationship with the company . If quit am I truly forgiving
