What do I do? Do I take the prozac? I keep waking up at night and it's scaring me. I can't go back to sleep. I've never had this before. I think it started with the anxiety attacks because I never had this problem before. I've been on prozac before and had no problem sleeping (if anything slept too well) but I'm scared this won't be the case this time round.

Running my first homelab, 3 Raspberry Pis and a Proxmox node (more to come!) with 2 VMs inside. They all run a k8s cluster, and among the things deployed I have pihole, which serves as DNS in my local network.
Considering that my hosts come from different providers (bare-metal RPi and a Proxmox node), I'm getting a little overwhelmed with how should I handle the IP assignment. For now I rely on my UDM SE DHCP service, but considering I'm getting more and more hosts under my control, I'm wondering what's the best practice for assigning static IPs to the hosts?
Couple of options I cosidered are: * switching UDM DHCP to relay on pihole, * static requests inside the hosts themselves, * assigning static IPs in UDM DHCP.
I don't use anything for orchestration, although I'm looking into Ansible right now. I am not sure how it will affect the IP assignment.
How do you handle IPs in your homelab?

Hi, ich stehe gerade vor der Entscheidung, ob ich meine erste Stelle in der Pädiatrie oder der Inneren (mit Ziel Allgemeinmedizin) beginne. Theoretisch muss man laut neuer WO in Baden-Württemberg ja nur 6 Monate Intensiv für Pädiatrie machen und kann ansonsten viel Zeit ambulant absolvieren. Ich habe jedoch noch nie eine Stellenausschreibung für Kinderarztpraxen gesehen und frage mich, wie leicht es ist dort eine Stelle zu finden und wie viel man dort anteilig realistisch absolvieren könnte. Ich möchte eigentlich schon in der Weiterbildung ambulant arbeiten. Hat hier jemand Erfahrung und möchte ein bisschen berichten?

Hey guys, I would like to ask if anyone else has this, since I was a child I have felt pressure in the front part of my brain, I kind of feel it when I get close to something like getting too close to the wall, monitor or even bending down close to the floor, It's as if I was sensitive to this approach, whenever I went to look for something under the bed I felt this pressure on my head, sometimes just thinking about this approach makes me feel this pressure, it ends up being very annoying and difficult to use the computer and others things in my life, I believe I have normalized this because I have had this since I was a child. Has anyone else had or has this? It's something very specific, I'm planning to see a neurologist.

I have 5 cats, 3 of them pay no attention and have never even noticed we have a ceiling fan. 1 of them slinks around the edges of the room if the ceiling fan is on. But the 5th cat? We found him at 5 weeks old in October outside my office, poor guy was struggling. We took him in and he’s been a great addition to the house. I mean, he’s the weirdest cat I’ve ever met in my life, but he’s great, super social and lovey. He’s 4 months old now. We turned on the ceiling fan for the first time since he’s been here and he LOST IT. I’m talking hissing, scurrying, yowling, until he got underneath the TV stand and just hid… Took him hours to get over it, he’s fine now. So, am I gonna have to just never use a ceiling fan again? Any ideas on where this visceral reaction came from? I tried to turn it on the very lowest setting (barely moving at all) today and he had the same reaction.

We have a front loading washer that drains out to a catch basin. When we run the laundry (usually cold loads) we get a sewer smell in the house.
The laundry is on the basement level, and during and after running it we notice the smell in the stairway leading up to the main floor, as well as in the bathroom on the main floor. That bathroom isn’t directly above the laundry but up and one wall over.
There is a closet in the room next to the laundry room, which is directly below the main floor bathroom, that has the worst smell. There is a large pipe running vertically through that closet that we assume is the sewer stack to the toilet above.
The machine doesn’t smell, and is clean of gunk. The drain itself has no odor and we’ve already moved the drain line up and down, to see if that changed anything.
We’ve also run hot water loads, bleach loads, and tried putting enzymatic powder in the catch basin. Sometimes it works or helps but the smell comes back, especially if the temperature drops.
The catch basin was last cleaned out 17 months ago.
We can’t tell if the roof vent is clogged or not, but assume not as the smell is only bad when the weather is cold. The roof vent is directly above the sewer stack and bathroom mentioned above.
We do 3-4 loads of laundry per week, usually over two consecutive days.
At this point it seems like it’s either we need to clean the catch basin or have a cracked pipe within the house that’s letting sewecatch basin gas out.
Anyone have any ideas or confirmations? Thank you!
