i'd say that multiple times per game my QB passes it straight into my own offensive line when i try to make short passes. it's so frustrating, as I have to work hard to find gaps between my OL to throw into, and sometimes it messes up my throwing and causes INTs. anyone else deal with this issue?

2025.01.22 20:40 rwarlioness37 Am I wrong to want to leave group after being forced to reveal backstory?
For context, only half of the group bothered to read the two page summary of the world that is the setting of our campaign. And these players also ignored the bullet points I made with the most important (they literally skipped the TL;DR). So the two of us that did read, wrote backstories that were relevant to the world we’re in, meanwhile everyone’s characters are just there along for the ride. The backstory of my character was she was taken from home as a child by the “Church”, told she was a resurrected person (this was a lie), and then trained to be an assassin warrior for the “Church”. There are many people in this setting that are resurrected and is part of the religion in the setting. My character from the start was known to work for the police force (though it was not known she worked for a secret subgroup of this police). When she met the party she did not hide her dislike for the one resurrected person in the party. In one session shortly after, she stole a blasphemous book and sent it to her boss (successfully rolling so the party doesn’t know she’s done this) and she broke from the party (the only time she’s ever done this) to stay at the police barracks instead of the hotel with the rest of the party (because I was thinking this character would want privacy to speak to her superiors plus she literally just met these characters). My character finds out at the barracks that night that her bosses were found out to be an evil network doing bad things in the name of the Church and because I sent that book to them I was wanted for the crimes, too. But I was given the chance to clear my name if I helped bring some big names in. I didn’t tell my party this (but the players knew) simply because my character literally just met these people (and she was just betrayed by the people that raised her). These things seemed to have irritated one of the players but she didn’t say anything so I wasn’t sure if it was just a fleeting thing or if I did too many secret shenanigans in one session . I’ve spent the next few sessions being nothing but a team player, I have cute silly roleplaying moments with some of the party members and I went out of my way to save one of them. I don’t go off on my own and really just follow the party around and help them. Their missions in the end helped me clear my character’s name, but I’ve never “lone wolfed” it or try to sabotage anyone’s mission. And in game, my character still doesn’t tell any of the party members she’s wanted (again, they’ve only known each other for 3 weeks in game).
I want to add the only other person that read the background had a secret as well which was revealed a session prior to the last one that she was a resurrected person and an identical twin that switches places with her sister to avoid responsibilities.
Cut to the most recent session: My character helps kill a major player in this evil Church group and discovers a lot of damning evidence against some other important people. I was then exonerated of all charges against me. One of the things I found was a log with a list of children whom this group stole and lied to them about being resurrected and were raised as assassins for the Church. My character attempted to steal this log but was caught by an NPC. Not a single player in-game asked me why I tried to take it but the players yelled at me for it. One of the players said that her character no longer trusts my character and from this point onward she’ll oppose my character coming on further missions. I pointed out that this player had a secret and we all knew but didn’t badger her until she told us. And another player accused me of being difficult. That same player messaged me after the game to bring forward concerns the players were having with how I’m playing. That it’s like I’m playing a different game from them and that my character has been standoffish and closed off. Outside of the two things I stole (or tried to steal in the last case), sleeping in the barracks once, and omitting my legal situation, I’ve been an upbeat team player who has risked life and limb for the other party members and doing everything their characters want to do.
Eventually, I was fed up and messaged the group and told them my character was interested in the log because she was a stolen child raised to fight for the Church. To me, there were a lot of meta clues and in-game clues that the players could’ve figured out why I tried to take the log.
We’re about 20 sessions into the game and I’m just so done with it already.
I also want to say the DM knows everything I’ve done, my backstory, and she’s even privately messaged me during sessions as my boss to have my character do WAY more awful stuff (like murder a valued NPC which I found ways to avoid).
Am I in the wrong? Should I suck it up? My best friend is in this group but I’m in 3 other groups and have never had this issue before.

I wasn't alive in the 1970's but I have worked in office buildings that looked like they were designed and built during that era. Although the computers and phones I worked with were more modern, everything else from the style of cubicles, file cabinets, carpet, ceiling panels, and furniture looked like it was from that era. 2025.01.22 20:40 Akulatraxus [Online][SR5][Tuesday 18:00-21:00 GMT][LGBTQ+ friendly] Looking for a 4th runner to join us in Shadowrun.
I'm Alya, I'm a trans girl who likes to GM Shadowrun. We have just started a new campaign but one of my players had to drop out for scheduling reasons. We play every other Tuesday 18:00 to 21:00 London time. The game is 5th edition Shadowrun and set in London. Mostly black trench-coat but with some louder action-y runs mixed in.
We are happy to teach new players the ropes; already trained up two of the existing players. We use Discord and Foundry to run the game. We also use Chummer as a character creator. The discord server is used for other games as well but I have roles set up so you don't need to interact with the people not playing Shadowrun if you don't want to.
The other characters are a Decker, a Face and a Street Sam all of which have pretty good social skills they plan to use in runs. Any character archetype will fit in with them, really. The game is mostly a set of loosely connected runs for the various factions of Shadowrun London with some plot threads to pull at if you feel like it.

With the “workspace” console that folds out to create a workspace, does the console lid stay up for you when you pull it up? I’m taking my truck in for the final service while still under bumper to bumper warranty, and trying to get everything fixed that I can. The console lid has to be held up with the console open to prevent it from falling back down

Leadsnavi is a B2B lead generation and identity resolution tool that helps identify anonymous website visitors by resolving their IP addresses to a company then giving relevant information on the company like their industry, personnel and even financials, details that you can use for lead qualification and outreach. It also does web analytics.
We used it on my last job and I also added it to my SaaS. It has had some good results but I’m now worried about privacy. I want my SaaS to be GDPR compliant and I’m pretty sure the two don’t go along very well.
Will adding user consent be enough for this? Something that lets the user know what’s going on under the hood and allows them to either accept or reject, if they accept the tag gets fired if they reject it doesn’t. Will this do?

I have an excel workbook that I need to disable copy and paste on while other people are using it, but when I am using it, I want copy and paste enable. I found this macro at this link that does what I want https://www.extendoffice.com/documents/excel/4289-excel-disable-cut-copy-paste.html
I put the macro in ThisWorkbook on the visual basic thing on developer and it does what I want, it disables copy/paste. However, I do not know how to fully reenable copy paste when I want to use it. I tried deleted all of the code from "ThisWorkbook" and that restored most of the copy/paste functionality, for example, I can do ctrl+c/ctrl v or use the ribbon, but right click copy paste is still disable.
Is there an easy way to restore full copy paste function?
