I’m asking this theoretically. I know NQ and QQQ follow tech heavily like Apple and Nvidia. But at the same time, they are also bought and sold and traded by themselves.
I learned the other day that if one instrument is over valued then institutions or traders might do arbitrage with say QQQ.
But what if say theoretically some dude won the Powerball of $2 billion and decided to yolo it into NQ. So say that average 5 minute volume is 4000 contracts. But this dude decides to yolo like 8000 NQ contracts at once and spikes the price instantly like 40 points. My understanding is that QQQ will probably follow.
But he only bought futures contracts. He never bought Apple or Microsoft or Nvidia. Wouldn’t that leave inefficiency or make the futures indice out of sync with actual stock shares?

I’m usually pro America usually defend them when they go to war (within reason) but now our current president wants us gone, who wants to eradicate or history despite us being Americans I feel ashamed of being gay and nobody ignored him when he said he was gonna be a dictator on day one and now apparently we don’t exist.

I don’t care about how many upvotes I get on a post and I’m frustrated that yet again, I have to go and update notification settings because Reddit keeps turning these sort of notifications back on. But for some reason I only have ‘inbox’ only or ‘all’ now and there is no option to turn them off. Is this a glitch?

Many subreddits are now voting to ban /Twitter links. We should have a similar vote. Post a top-level comment saying yes, or no, as the first word. Only users who have posted or commented in /badscience previously will be counted. badscience is slower moving than many subreddits so I will leave the vote open for three whole days.
