My ex and I broke up roughly a month ago. Classic disappearing act into discard over Christmas. 3 weeks come and go and I didn’t hear from him. Figured that was that.
He does graffiti as a little hobby. Nothing extravagant. Just some slaps and some drawings with markers. He has a face that he draws regularly and if you keep an eye out in the neighborhood, you’ll spot a handful of em on walls, signs, benches, etc. I was taking out the trash one day after I met him and I realized that one of his drawings was on the back door of my building. It had apparently been there for months before I moved in so that was a cute coincidence at the time.
Last week I got home from work and noticed there was a new slap on the door next to his original drawing. It read “Lilybee my friend?” with a little cartoon bee (it was a cute nickname he had for me). That was a lot of effort to go through when a text would’ve achieved the same result.
I asked him what he wanted from me and he said something about grabbing drinks and building community. Super platonic and low stakes stuff. This lined up perfectly with how emotionally detached he was during the breakup so I gave him a condition. I texted him “I’m not going to entertain being a friend to you until I get accountability for the way you acted”
Crickets. No response. Figured I would just be putty in his hands because he put a drawing on my back door. I’m so happy I called his bluff because this silence tells me everything I need to know. He’s not capable of taking accountability and only wants my presence to distract from how bad he feels. Sorry, boy. You had your chance and you blew it. The only thing that’s disappointing me anymore is that I have to look at his drawings every time I take out the trash.

A bunch of these trailers make the shows seem silly/campy, but they're not. I can recommend each one except for Utopia, which I haven't gotten far into yet, and Children of the Stones which I think might interest 10-14 yearolds, but not so much adults? Quite a few were canceled, but worth the watch regardless.

I am one of the older millenials (1982). I am not sure what got me thinking about this, but I started remembering all of the end of the world hype we were innundated with during the 90s. I was just curious about how many people remember what they were doing on New Years Eve 1999 or January 1, 2000?
One of my friends hosted a NYE party, and we played DnD, MtG and video games the whole night. We lost track of time until around 12:30. None of us really expected anything to happen, and we jokingly talked about our disappointment about having to go back to school. We knew a few people though, whose family took it very seriously and were basically hiding in their basements.

So this season's changes have upset a lot of people, and while they could have communicated things like the price changes a lot sooner, this is a change that, especially in the long term, will benefit us as players greatly. This season may feel rocky due to people not having the needed crystals, but every future season will now give more rewards; more tickets, more crystals, more tuning parts, and more costumes, all now at your own pace rather than playing the game like it's a job.
Essentially, this is a very big "hold up, let them cook" situation, because we will be in a better place once we work through the beginning of this new system.

Background, I'm an android guy since forever. Wife and I both switched to iPhone SE3 so that when we die our kids will be able to access whatever on the iPhones.
In the last 6 months my fingers and thumbs are supper smooth and I can't use either thumb (both thumbs and pointing fingers were setup originally) to access my phone. Lucky I also setup a PIN to also access my iPhone.
I tried to turn off the touch access, but the phone said I was a bad guy and said something about locking phone or something.

I just moved to a new house, and these are the dimensions of my living room (in inches). Black and blue lines are walls, and the dotted line is a full length window. I don't know how to best design this space, it feels like there is no obvious place for a couch and TV without harming the paths of travel. I'd like some help with ideas.
Things I want in this room:
- Couch (I currently have one that measures 39 x 81)
- TV with stand (14 x 54)
- Ideally a bar unit or curio cabinet (I don't have one yet, but assume ~15 x 30)
- Ideally a center table or something similar
- Lamps (~12x12)
