2025.01.23 01:01 No_Loss4967 New FAA Administrator and Future Updates to Certification/Regulation and AAM
Chris Rocheleau was sworn in today as Deputy Administrator for the FAA according to the article below and others around the web. The deputy administrator is like the right hand man of the head administrator. It seems that Chris has been involved with the FAA in the past in a few positions, but this is his highest yet. Due to former Administrator Mike Whitaker resigning on the 20th, there is a vacant spot at the top of the organization and This leaves the new FAA administrator to be appointed by Trump. This person will take over control of the department working with Sean Duffy at the Department of Transportation to regulate and organize the aviation sector from safety concerns regarding Boeing and others, accidents, certifications, air traffic control shortages, and more, the new administrator will have a lot to work on.
Whoever gets the appointment from Trump will have a Lot of power when it comes to the certification of midnight and other eVTOL aircraft in the United States. if my understanding is correct, I believe that the head of certification at the FAA will also be appointed by Trump, but I’m not 100% on this one, so there is opportunity for upcoming news outside of Archer to impact the stock.
All this being said, I believe that with Elon Musk working so closely with Trump, this will certainly impact Trump‘s decision on the new administrator. Elon has mentioned many times his disliking of the way the FAA has handled many situations when it comes to dealing with SpaceX. He has insinuated that there is far too much bureaucratic power and bloat Within the FAA, and even potentially over reaches of power as well. I think it is likely that we see not only someone who is very forward thinking and open to innovation, but also potential loosening of certain restrictions and likely updates to policy that take new technology and possibilities into consideration much more than we have seen from the past.
When listening to many things that Adam is saying and thinking about the long-term possibilities of archer, it becomes very apparent that things will move to be pilotless at some point. China is already doing this and using AI/automation almost exclusively for their eVTOLs.
Because the future is going to become much more automated when it comes to aviation flight traffic control, the systems aircraft use to communicate between each other will need to become automated as well, which Adam has mentioned will be a large challenge. AI is going to have a big impact here and Trump investing in AI as well as already cutting restrictions in many areas, all on top of the efforts of DOGE and Musk’s influence could be extremely bullish for the sector, especially archer! DOGE even announced recently that they are requiring software updates and modernization throughout the government. With transportation and aviation being directly within Musk’s area as a focus and Trump refusing to let China lead, I see the FAA and air traffic control system updates and modernization being an area we will see drastic changes and improvements in the coming decade(if not sooner) and mandates from the executive and laws from the legislative impacting this area are almost certain.
While I know we all want this thing to moon ASAP, I plan to hold for a LONG time and advanced air mobility or AAM is definitely the way of the future. One day this company and others will likely rival car manufacturers and daily flying will become just as common as driving. I look forward to this and have strong belief that there are drastic changes coming to the sector. Things are looking bright for Archer when considering the new Trump administration and I see everything that has happened and been talked about so far to be incredibly bullish. From incentives for US manufacturing to deregulation to competition with China, I am looking forward to the almost certain upward momentum.

The sound that plays when I open the YTTV app on Roku Ultra is ... loud.
I know the app has started. The whole house knows the app has started.
It is louder than the volume of anything I am watching in any app.
Unless I missing something, there's no way to lower the volume.
My suggestion is that the volume be lowered by those who can, the developers. There nothing enjoyable about the sound. It's slightly jarring, a tad unnerving, a trifle annoying.

i just wanna clarify, I'm usually not the type of person to enjoy manga. so I will only read if necessary. after watching the first two seasons of the show I needed more content and so I started reading the manga. and I was genuinely shocked by how beautiful the illustrations are, its such a huge contrast from the anime and it has really made me appreciate this series. I can now gladly say I'm caught up and awaiting more.
