Hey!
Should I buy the Dell XPS 15 with 32GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 15.6-inch display for around 1100 Euros, or should I go for a MacBook Pro instead?
I’ve been a Windows user my entire life, and I currently need a new laptop after my Galaxy Book Pro 360 only lasted about 2.5 years. I keep reading that MacBook Pros are the best laptops, and I wouldn’t mind spending up to 1500 Euros on a laptop.
In a few weeks, I have exams, so I need to start using my new laptop before the exams. This is because I want to test the laptop within the return period to ensure it meets my needs. The issue, as many people have pointed out, is that switching to Apple’s system might cause some challenges for me, which could interfere with my exam preparations.
The reason I can’t wait and have to order in the next few days is that the discount for the XPS 15 ends on January 28, and the discount is worth around 350 Euros.

So I am thinking of buying a windows phone off of eBay (not sure which model yet as I haven’t memorised it) it says it’s carrier locked but according to what I have previously been told I should just have to get the IEMI give it to the carrier (vodaphone) and they should give me the unlock code? Right? I’m not completely sure so if anyone could help it would be hugely appreciated.

2025.01.22 22:12 skoflt What's the best play pattern for exploring Tengoku?
My highest climb is 200F. But many of my gears are in low tiers. Even with maxed out collector, I could only gain limited materials every Tengoku run (usually ends at 65F when inventory is full). I often climb to 120F once a week for the task reward.
My thought is that all the gears will eventually be uncapped so collecting all types of mats is the most efficient method. Or I could just ignore low tier stuff and focus on maxing out meta weapon/armor. Then I would have to discard useful mats when climbing.
What do you think? Should I keep my current play pattern?

So he doesn’t hate me but he’s become more distant. He lives with his mom aka my brothers ex. We were extremely close and I mean super close. I took him everywhere with me. On errands. On nights out with friends. As long as he stayed over on the weekends, we always always spent time together. He would even always text me. Now he never answers my texts or calls me. Doesn’t want to go anywhere with me. Mind you I’m 26 so yeah there is a bit of an age difference but I try to really include him in my life but I feel he’s distant and I’ve asked him why but he just doesn’t really know. Another thing he did recently is he borrowed my laptop without asking then told me his little sister damaged the keyboard. I kind of scolded him and told him to get it fixed and he shouldn’t have took my laptop without asking. After that, he barely talks to me which I get but like he shouldn’t have done what he did. Anyway, I know he moved out of the city so it is a bit it a hassle to get to and from the city. I also understand he’s getting older and has friends now. But I do miss spending time with him. I don’t want us to get more distant as he becomes older. What can I do?

My general manager told me there isnt enough hours to give out, this cant be true bc when i used to work there the GM wasnt clocked in 24/7 when she isnt there when she is scheduled off, and had a name in their drawer the whole time. Im on the brink of homelessness right now because my job “cant give more hours” and i cant afford to uber to a second job for two weeks before i get payed. Do i call the corporate office tonight or leave it? It just baffles me bc someone was fired before for the same thing a manager doing that for their daughter and everyone knows she does this now but they dont say anything.

So basically, I bought a shockbyte server for myself and one other to play and shockbyte recommended I use version 1.20.6 without thinking I just went for that version and downloaded forge mods for that version (I was tired and fed up of getting the server working) I realized the next day that it was basically telling me it wasn't a good idea to play on a version higher than 1.20.6 but by then I had everything up and running with the mods (mostly building and decoration mods) and we just decided to play on it. Now I realize I want more decor mods but most of them are for 1.20.1. How would I completely change the version and it's mods without breaking anything? would it be as simple as changing the version and replacing the mods with the same ones but using 1.20.1 or would that mess everything up?

2025.01.22 22:12 MinuetInUrsaMajor Tried for the first time a week ago. Tingly sensation after dose has worn off when exerting/holding breath?
Started with 2g capsules around 5pm and another 1g capsules around 9pm. Tried that about 2-3 times in the past week. Then two nights ago I tried 3g capsules all at once at 7pm. The 2g-1g dosage led to a general calming effect. The 3g dosage caused a euphoric spike around 2 hours in that lasted for about 30-60 minutes. That was my last dose so far.
Last night and today I noticed that when stretching/exerting myself I got a bit of a tingly feeling mostly in my chest and some lightheadedness. It's very brief. Feels kind of good. I'm wondering if that's common and what the deal is.
I'm also wondering what my doses are. If 2g was mild sedation and 3g led to mild euphoria, does that mean 0.5g-1g is probably where alertness/focus would be?
Open to any advice/caution at this point.

For the past few days, I've woken up at 7 am from a strange thumping noise coming from my upstairs neighbor. It sounds like someone is repeatedly throwing a ball to the floor or jumping rope. My roommates thinks they might be working out but it's getting very annoying that they do it so early in the morning. Yesterday, I decided to use a broom and pound on the ceiling to let them know they are being loud and it stopped for a while but then it started again. Today, I went and knocked on the door but no one answered. The noise continued for a bit but then stopped. I feel like it will continue to happen and I don't want to keep waking up at 7am because of it. I've tried talking to them but they don't open the door. I'm debating on weather I should leave them a note or send an email to the leasing office.
