Hi everyone! I have my grad school interview for a masters in school counseling in less than a week and I’m looking for any and all advice!! Is anyone currently in the program? Does anyone know what questions I should expect to be asked? Anything I should spend extra time preparing prior to the interview? It’s a group interview, 1:1, then I get to spend time talking to students currently in the program. Thank you!

2025.01.22 23:26 Cammokitty It's really cold here!
For those of you in the frozen tundra (aka, the Midwest, upper Michigan, Canada)... Do you choose meals based on the possibility it could become a totaly frozen block by the time you get it?
This is my first winter with HelloFresh and I had that exact thing happen. I'm in central Indiana and we just had 4 or so days with 20 degrees and under. My box was delayed a day, for some unknown reason FedEx didn't disclose, and when it arrived today, everything but the spice mixes was frozen solid. That pretty much renders all the veggies and fresh herbs useless, even after thawing.
I've already gone through support and got the issue resolved.
I'm mainly just wondering if anybody chooses meals based on the potential for frozen ingredients. Are there meals that would work in this scenario? 🤔 One that pops into my head would Mexicali black bean soup, I think the only fresh ingredient that one is an onion.

So as you can see apparently I was extremely horny and got myself 226 Lap Dances but you see the problem is I only got 25.
I've been trying to platinum GTA 5 on the PS5 and one of the achievements "Enjoy Your Stay" has you taken a lap dance.
I thought it was 25 mistaking it for the GTA online trophy but even then I literally counted every single time I went in there and even saved the game.
Within 14 minutes I Franklin somehow got 226 lap dances????
If someone could help I'd appreciate it because it's lowkey embarrassing as hell considering my friends can see it on my rockstar social club

I rarely hunt for the best sell prices because after a while, money doesn't matter any more. I arrive at the space station and dump all my stuff to the station terminal or the NPCs because they both pay the same. Turns out when you sell to the station cartographer, their prices are different, often better. So if you're shopping for the best returns and you're lazy like me, try the cartographer too.

2025.01.22 23:26 AdUnhappy4717 Weird change in A549 morphology
 | Could anyone with experience in culturing A549 cells shed some light? I'm running an experiment where I'm treating A549 cells with conditioned media. After seeding the cells in 6 well plates, I treat the cells next day with conditioned media for 4 hours and then I see this weird change in morphology. They are beginning to have this round like morphology and they look like are undergoing apoptosis. However I'm pretty sure its not from my conditioned media because even my control cells treated with regular, serum-free media look like this. I've done this experiment many times before but I have not seen this change. It is especially odd because this is only after 4 hours. The first picture is how A549 normally looks like and the subsequent are what my cells currently look like. I added the arrows to show the round cells. A ton of people have been saying how strange this year’s national championship game was. With no clear cut great teams like 2019 LSU, 2020 Bama, 2021 Georgia, and 2023 Michigan, it felt like there was little to no excitement around the game. It is only two days later and nobody cares about the outcome already. I’ve seen so many people saying they feel like it wasn’t a legit championship and they still consider Michigan the last real national champion. A longer playoff certainly played into the fatigue but are there any other reasons?

I absolutely love Mariana Enriquez and read all her works. I don't know how much Carmen Maria Machado falls under this umbrella, but I'm also a big fan of her. Bernardo Esquinca? 10/10, mind blown, feelings all over the place. Currently reading Never Whistle At Night, and while there are some duds, the book on the whole is amazing.
I come from a small country with a lot of myths and legends, and our land has been constantly invaded by foreign hordes, our culture erroded etc. so I feel a kind of kinship when reading books by authors who can relate to this.
