 | About 8 months ago I went for run trying to lose some weight and after that my right heel started hurting. At first I assumed it was because of the run but the pain never stopped. I first assumed it was plantar fasciitis but some of my symptoms don't match. Now I'm wondering if it's flexor hallucis tendonitis but I don't really know if my symptoms fit. So my symptopms: - pain in the back of the heel and sort of up the outer side of the ankle a bit - the pain is mainly alongside the inner part and outer part of the heel (red in the picture) - at first i felt a popping sensation when I walked in the blue part of the pic - that stopped but now it sometimes "pops" when I bend my big toe - the pain gets worse with activity - if I walk a lot it hurts more and more - the pain is still there even after a few days but if I don't go out for a few days it doesn't hurt at all (the pain is not the worst in the morning hence why I assume it's not plantar fasciitis) - it hurts in the outer part of the heel if I flex/stretch my foot/toes back - sometimes if it already hurts from activity and I sort of point my foot down it hurts a lot - if I apply diclofenac cream (nsaid) it gets better Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you submitted by Current_5555601 to FootFunction [link] [comments] |

Other than the water pump being inside the engine and a serious cost to replace i haven’t found any info reliability wise for this car. I recently saw a super low mileage one here (18k miles) with the beige interior i like and it’s a good price. Wondering if it’s something low cost maintain wise? i don’t drive a lot and it’ll mostly be in an underground garage 90% of its life. just need it for the wife’s occasional grocery runs or appointments. Honda and Toyota prices have gone crazy here.

Today I check and I have a request for clarification and a file for clarification response. I would love to know if any one has any insight on what's going on with my claim. I originally had a mixture of secondary claims and supplemental claims for SC increase. The C&P exams were all scheduled to have a medical opinion for direct service connection instead of the majority being medical opinion for secondary claims. The medical opinions all came back with less than likely..... I spoke to a VERA rep last month and they were to upload a statement that a mistake had been made when scheduling the C&P exams. Not sure if that happened but now I can't get passed step 6 without exams requested, cancelled, rescheduled etc. If the VA is going to deny the claims, just do it so I can start work on my higher-level review. Hi, myself (29) and partner (31) are looking to invest for the long term, after years focussed on getting on the ladder.
We have a larger lump sum we're keen to put away for 8-10 years minimum (realistically longer, but hard to say definitely). Would then look to put away around £1k p/m on a rolling basis.
We're new to investing and understand enough around wanting to invest in a range of index funds that offer diversification.
Based on own research, this is our thinking - would welcome thoughts on what does / doesn't work here and if we need to rethink.
Appreciate any advice, this feels like a huge deal for us so any thoughts are hugely welcomed.
We're also trying to understand the best platforms to use if any ideas.
70% in Global Equity Index Funds: - (30%) Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (VWRL) - (20%) iShares MSCI World ETF (IWRD) - (20%)Fidelity Index World Fund
20% in U.S. Equity Index Fund: - Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUSA)
10% Emerging Markets Index Funds: - iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (IEMG)
Reason: long term nest egg, early retirement Risk profile: We'd probably classify as medium risk. But wkukd ideally spread a l little - i.e. 15-20% in lower risk and 10% in higher.
Selection was based on an attempt to be diversified, while covering global and leaning ever so slightly into US markets.

He said it was the app trying to get him to pay to keep the phone number which i know is a thing but there was no automated call or anything. He recently cheated but says he doesnt talk to her anymore but it seems like hes lying about the call today. Has anyone gotten a call with no response from the app? I asked if this is a girl can she just tell me and still no response. No girl code there apparently. Ive been torn on leaving and staying for multiple reasons but if it only took a couple weeks for him to be back to being secretive, that would make my decision heck of a lot easier.

I tried Deepseek R1 Qwen Distills 32B, 14B, 8B (llama), 7B, and 1.5B. Anything below 14B is sort of dumb with 14B being very good. I don't know if anyone has a similar experience but looking at benchmarks (Oobabooga and Open-llm leaderboard as examples) it seems that there's a severe loss of intelligence/reasoning below 14b.
Now there's no denying how amazing Deepseek R1 is and The qwen 32b distill is honestly one of the best models I have used but it's also worth pointing out that the smaller models don't perform so well. This is just my experience trying the smaller models and it's obviously subjective. If anyone wants to share their experience that would be great too. Maybe I'm missing something :)

 | 06 Tahoe LS 5.3 I’ve had this issue for around 9 months and curious as to what is the likely culprit. The coolant rapidly depletes and a month ago caused it to overheat. I had replaced the coolant tank before the overheating incident happened which was only one time. Whenever I park, I notice a smell of burnt oil and I’ve had the oil changed twice over this 6 month period and both times the place observed there’s been an oil leak. The work I’ve done so far is a replacement of the coolant tank and a test for possible cracked manifold but the test was clean. I’m a remote worker and rarely drive but deeply concerned.
