 | This is a recipe for those bright red pickles of your childhood that have a strong cinnamon flavor! They actually use cinnamon candies (that come from a box) I see this one posted a lot, so I thought I'd add a recipe to the sub along with my notes! https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/147023/christmas-red-pickles/ Ingredients:
Peel cucumbers, halve lengthwise, and scrape out seeds with a spoon. Cut halves into 1/4-inch half-circles and place into a glass or ceramic crock. Dissolve pickling lime in about 1 quart room temperature water; pour over cucumbers, then add additional water to cover cucumbers by 1/2 inch. Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Step 2: Drain cucumbers and rinse well with cold water. Place into a large stockpot and cover with cold water. Let stand at room temperature for 3 hours, then drain and rinse again. Step 3 Return cucumbers to the stockpot. Add 1 cup vinegar, food coloring, alum, and enough water to cover by 1/2 inch. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 2 hours. Drain and let cool a bit before placing into the glass or ceramic crock. Step 4 Stir together sugar, remaining 2 cups vinegar, 2 cups water, red hot candies, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar and candies dissolve. Pour over warm cucumbers. Cover and let sit for 8 hours to overnight. Step 5 Pack pickles into hot, sterilized pint jars, filling to within 1/4 inch of the top. Run a clean knife or thin spatula around the insides of the jars to remove any air bubbles. Wipe the rims with a moist paper towel to remove any residue. Top with the lids and screw the rings on tightly. Step 6 Place a rack in the bottom of a large stockpot and fill halfway with water. Bring to a boil and lower the jars 2 inches apart into boiling water using a holder. Pour in more boiling water to cover jars by at least 1 inch. Bring to a rolling boil, cover, and process for 15 to 20 minutes. Step 7 Remove the jars from the stockpot and let rest, several inches apart, for 12 to 24 hours. Press the center of each lid with a finger to ensure the lid does not move up or down. Remove the rings for storage and store in a cool, dark area. I think the Switch 3 will have a foldable screen and joy-cons. This will make possible remakes of DS and 3DS games using to screens with only one device. I know this sounds crazy and that the size of the console would be massive but was next to improve on the switch if this isn’t it I wouldn’t know what to expect. A hologram that pops out of your screen perhaps?

Why have I heard several people tell Andy that he sounds like he has a college degree? I think Andy, himself, described it as masking.
I don't think he sounds intelligent at all, let alone like someone who has several degrees. He's clearly an idiot and I don't know why some of these social service folks tell him that he sounds smart. I've never heard him say anything remotely smart or clever.

 | SO ive encountered these kind of posts in my feed quite a lot now and I never had a clue or understanding why it happens -- sometimes, i think it's scary already 💀 The photo here is a screenshot from my own feed so I had to blurr out the names and photos. Basically, the post is from a friend tagging her boyfriend on a supposedly "relatable" post - assuming it's relatiomship related. HOWEVER, the post shared do not have any context anywhere near relationship topics. *rough trans "Jane Doe: you may want to, you know. @John Doe" The shared "post" says "Jillian's reply made me laugh so hard!" WHICH DO NOT CONNECT AT ALL! My girlfriend has a 2001 Jeep grand Cherokee, with a V8 Engine. We’ve been having an issue with it for months on end where the interior lights stay on even after the key is no longer in the ignition and all doors are shut. We expected the issue was her drivers side door panel is broken so we glued it shut but the glue wouldn’t hold, we expect because it’s winter and we live in Utah. We have already replaced every single fuse, bought a new battery for the car (because the last one was completely killed by this problem) We don’t really know what else to do to fix this. I’ll let you guys know any other information you need for this

Well, what I wanted to tell you is that, after thinking about it, I decided to make a decision, which, in this case, is to leave Reddit, because, recently, I have been going through several positive changes in my life, in which I would like to continue and enjoy it, and among these changes, I concluded that I thought it was best to end my activity on Reddit, because I would like to move on to the next stage of my journey, and end this good phase of my life; and, close this account, because I no longer see any reason to continue with it.

the biggest losers play online. everyone wants to be the hardest character, either one of the overpowered ones like scorpion, subzero, noob, jade, or the one they practiced the most, while i'm trying to just have fun being 100% random select every time. i have such a long 'losing' streak because i attempt to play for fun, hence tortured by coward assholes who play their top character every time. i keep wishing the game will detect my unbroken 'losing' streak and try to find me someone who also 'loses' a lot, so it can finally be a fair fight. to hell with you cowards who play this online who don't go with random select.

I was thinking about the moment when they showed Gemma on Mark’s screen at the end. Does this mean that Mark is directly working on Gemma’s (Casey’s) memory?
If that’s the case, what if all the other employees are also working on memories of their loved ones? For example, could Helly be working on Kier’s memory? Maybe Irving and Dylan are connected to people they knew and loved in the past too.
It makes me wonder if the severance process is somehow connecting their work to their own past memories and thoughts without them realizing it.
What do you guys think about this theory?

In conversation today, I said aloud for the first time that i think i've haven't been putting effort into finding/building relationships because i enjoy my freedom to choose who i spend my time with.
An example i used was the upcoming Valentine's Day "holiday" in February. If i was dating someone, i'd have obligations to them to take them out and treat them special and all that mushy stuff. However, being single and not dating means i get to share the day with anyone i choose and potentially get to treat multiple people to dinner, chocolate hearts, roses, etc. without pissing off someone else.
I have a wedding to attend in April - i simply chose anyone from my circle of friends that was available for that day, instead having an obligation. to bring a specific person.
Sure, it would great to have one person who was almost guaranteed to go to these things with me, but sometimes i wanna spend time with other people and NOT be worried about insulting someone else.
Im gonna be single for a long time...
