Salam everyone! So I had been a hijabi for a while now and I just realized I get more attention being a hijabi than I did before it. I am slowly starting to get sucked into all of this worldy validation stuff. I feel like I still get lustful looks and people still find me attractive.
For context, I wear head scarf with western clothes (jeans, shirts) and I'm also on the curvier side. I am having a realization now that I'm prob not doing all this for Allah's sake.
Allah SWT gave me the confidence to put the head scarf on after I made a lot of duas. I just feel so sad that it has come to this. After watching a YT video of a guy reacting to a hijabi posting thirst traps, I realized that me and that girl are actually not that different. I just don't have social media other than reddit alhamdulillah. But I just don't know how to slowly become a better hijabi. I considered wearing niqab too but I feel that I'm not too brave to do that yet.
For the girls, how did you slowly become better at covering properly for the sake of Allah? For the guys, I just want you to know that every girl out there who you judge for wearing hijab and Western clothes together, know that most likely she knows what she is wearing and is struggling with it. If anything, instead of judging her, please make a dua for her for Allah SWT to make her hijab journey easier. Most guys have no idea on how much girls struggle with wearing proper clothing. I would argue it's as hard as how guys struggle with lowering their gaze.
Anyway, I would appreciate the advice on this!

I had a flight out of terminal 1 at ICN on January 18th 9am. O wow I thought I was in middle of a war zone. Everyone’s scrambling, running everywhere. LONG winding lines and no one knows what the lines are for. It took 1 hour and 30mins to drop off the bags. It probably would have taken another two-three hours to get through security but I got the fast pass privilege cuz of my 18 months old. Literally everyone running to the gates past security. It was disastrous and so stressful. Please arrive four or five hours early for morning flights out of ICN cuz you WILL miss your flight.

Okay so I know this is very early, but I can’t help but speculate. So we now know that in the future, there is going to be yet another new LI. While Caleb was very obvious, Sylus was also hinted at long before we met him, like when we heard his voice. This makes me think, that we at the very least, will get some hints for the next one as well. It’s very likely that it’s too early, and we have not met/heard about them yet, but just for the fun of it, this mystery guy could maybe be him. The way he is described and, his line about having waited so many years, at the very least tells me he is gonna be important. If not as a LI, then maybe as a villain. Also there is of course also the mystery woman in the same scene, but sadly I find it very unlikely that they will add a female LI.
Maybe I’m just highly overthinking it, please bare with me lol

2025.01.23 01:13 princess_smalls My plastic surgeon is requiring me to have my surgery at a hospital due to being susceptible of MH, seeking opinions!
Hi!
I am 31F considering an elective surgery. I found a surgeon I love but after she found out I am susceptible to malignant hyperthermia she is requiring me to have the surgery done at a hospital instead of their outpatient clinic. This raises costs significantly.
Another surgeon that I consulted stated that they’re able to do the surgery for me at their center and they were just avoid using certain medications to help eliminate risk.
I’m curious if it’s more beneficial for me to do it at the hospital or if the odds are the same as long as the anesthesiologist knows what’s going on? I would obviously go with a safer route if I do decide to move forward, but I want to know What would be best in my situation.
I have had general anesthesia before and did fine on it but this was 15 years ago before I was diagnosed with my genetic mutation.
Any insight is appreciated!

Already starting with discord, what an honorable phone, if for me the S24 Ultra was the most refined and elegant version the S25 ultra managed to be the biggest disappointment of design in multiple aspects, weird colors that resemble cheap plastic, black camera hoops that reinforced non-premium and even worse they being jumped/high, you know it will gather absurd dust underneath it? I agree that the sharp corners of the other Galaxy could be uncomfortable without a hood, but they had the rounded side that gave a little more oneness in the face of this era where everything looks the same just looking through the screen, I was in doubt whether the ultrawide lens will now have an engine to make macro, if yes very interesting, but I found this detail so vague... another aspect that I found very little explored was the video of the new screen, only the S24 Ultra had the gorilla armmor, Now the 25 Ultra has an improved version, but it has improved by how much? Anyway, I'm not disappointed because I didn't expect anything amazing in the 25th generation in terms of hardware, another reinforcement not to change mobile phones, now in terms of software... or... I thought very good the improvements they made, that's why I bought my first galaxy last year, Samsung is doing very well in the software features, I love these integrations and I know it had some other changes, like in the mode and routines that was not mentioned in the videos but it's a new era of automation. I'm looking forward to when these functions come to the other Galaxy S. Hey, what did you think?
