As a WOC that has suffered from hyperpigmentation my whole life, I understand the insecurities that come with it and the desperate want for those areas of your body to be lighter. The elbows, knees, fingers, toes, even the melasma on your face are all natural parts of being a melanated person.
However, I get it, so here are methods I am currently using to lighten these areas:
Kojic acid soap ($15 for 2) The Ordinary glycolic acid (~$13) Exfoliating glove/African shower net (~$8), A thick moisturizer (added body oil for the winter)
I include these products daily in my shower routine and have notice brighter and SMOOTHER skin (great for the peeps that suffer from keratosis pilares too).
The results will take a bit longer than bleaching, but it won't destroy your skin barrier.
Bleaching product are known carcinogens and your skin will be a lot worse than before. And was it worth it, for a couple months of lightened elbows and knees? I don't want to sound harsh, but please be safe!

2025.01.23 01:24 Optimal-Grapefruit29 Is it me or ?
Today this game has been unplayable. I know people say this all the time but today I mean literally it’s been unplayable. My first fight I couldn’t land a punch and Ricky hatton was hitting me with crazy combos. Also the controller had a crazy amount of haptic feedback (which I liked) every single punch you felt on the controller, and everytime my opponents landed I felt it in the controller. My second fight I loss by tko the dude had a record of 15/97 and he beat my eye open and the ref intervened twice. I didn’t even know that was possible online. The funny thing is he only landed 80 punches to my head. My third fight the fight was extremely zoomed out and I can see the crowd and parts of the arena. My 4th fight I knocked a guy out the first 30 seconds of round 1 with a jab. Honestly every single match today has been weird. The tko might be the weirdest because I’m sure that’s not even possible

Tonight I crushed my highest and hit 53% with my highest control and oxygenation. I closed my eyes majority of the time for this one and visualized raising the ball - anyone else tried this method with success? ok this one i probably know but want second opinion: booked a flight successfully in premium econ to europe. there are no seats in PE. theres quite a few in polaris. im going to be platinum at time of flight. i know anything can happen and someone may get bumped to first via cash/pp. odds that one of those people is me since im seatless? no cash upgrade attempted yet, and wont have pp either.
second: flights for work booked via concur. fine. but my boss gets allllll flight details sent to her. changes, upgrades, all of it. i make changes frquently but also like to keep my seats private. is there any way to stop this? to my knowledge this is the only airline that sends copy to her. its just so strange and dumb and im looking for ideas on how to end this madness.

I know many people think iOS 19 will be the last update but i disagree, rumors are already saying that even the XXS will get iOS 19, giving them 8 years of software updates and i can definitely see the 12 and the 12 mini being supported all the way up until iOS 21, losing support in 2028 especially considering the iPad 10th Generation (that is still being sold right now and released in 2022) has almost identical specs to the iPhone 12 (both use the A14 bionic chip and both have 4GB RAM) and i highly doubt Apple would drop support for the iPad 10 after only 4 years, that would make zero sense, i think it will go up to iOS 21 a long with the iPhone 12/12 Mini, with the iPhone 13/13 Mini losing support the same year, since they also only have 4GB of RAM like the 12/12 Mini. What do you guys think?

Ok so I feel like Alli doesn’t get enough props for how she managed the Leo situation. Maybe I missed some threads on here but watching her stand there all fucked up while cops arrested Leo and he pleaded to her saying he loves her really hit me hard. I haven’t ever been abused like that, but I have had men threaten me and show me that they could easily hurt me anytime they like and I know how scary and hard it is to do the right thing. I’m so proud of her and she’s a queen.

I recently got a new laptop running windows 11. Now when i attempt to attach files to emails, I cannot if the files is currently open. This is irritating as a lot of my work involves updating stuff, so having to close and reopen my files is irksome. I've not encountered this before getting the new laptop. Why is this happening? How can I get it to attach files that are open?
