I hate books/movies/tv shows/video games that have minor characters and or canon fodder that contribute nothing.
This all started when I was 10 or 11 years old. I was playing one of the Lego Star Wars games solo. I’m fighting my way through the game and I notice that my AI companion is fighting along side me but isn’t actually doing any damage. He is just there for show. I get a little bit older and I’m playing the gears of war series. Every time you find allies or other friendly AI characters as soon as you walk up to them they are scripted to die. Watching attack on titan. You have the guard that has heavy weaponry and the training to take down titans. They are absolutely useless. They don’t deliver a single titan kill until the end of the series. Same for the scout regiment. You have this elite team of soldiers that has went on hundreds of excursions outside of the walls. On screen all they do is get killed instantly. The only scouts that do any killing are Levi and his squad. If you are going to send hundreds of soldiers outside of the wall to just be canon fodder and die you might as well just send Levi since he’s the only one that’s going to accomplish anything. I’ve read countless book series where armies clash and battle and the only ones accomplishing anything are the main characters. This story trope is something that’s not a deal breaker for me but it’s something that’s bothered me for a long time.
This is why stories like Star Wars/Halo/Warhammer have resonated so well with me. In halo you have allies that accomplish things. They will fight and die in battle with you and take a few enemies along the way. In star wars you have minor characters and unnamed soldiers accomplishing major goals/story plots. Minor characters doing amazing things has been a major plot in all of these stories.
Is there a particular story element that this is associated with or am I just high and thinking too much into this? I don’t see this being discussed very often so I wanted to get the conversation started.

I sold a pair of jeans. The listing stated the size was 38x32 but 38x30 Actual. After receiving the jeans today, buyer left positive feedback. I sent a coupon for a future purchase, which the buyer used the same day. As I was getting ready to send a "thank you" message for the 2nd purchase, I received a message that they were missing a pair of jeans, the 38x30's. I responded with clarification on the size(s) listed, and said that this was a situation I hadn't seen before, so I'd look into possible solutions and follow up with him tomorrow. He replied that it was his mistake for not reading the listing more carefully, he was very sorry for misunderstanding, and that there was nothing more that needed to be done.
I don't feel like this is a scam attempt, but a simple misunderstanding. Although I wouldn't offer to refund the purchase price for this misunderstanding, it doesn't feel right that they eat the entire cost, either. So wondering about any thoughts/solutions y'all might have.
I appreciate and am thankful for your time.

Hello all,
Planning on ordering parts soon in preparation for the 50 series. Crossing my fingers I can snag one. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything and everything looked good. I have great peripherals that will allow me to enjoy the build to the fullest. I know the PSU is likely overkill, but I wanted to play it safe and potentially future proof.
Any recommendations or swaps you would recommend? Anything I may be missing?
Would the Lian Li strimer be a good addition to this build for purely aesthetic reasons?
